Where have you been all this time?

We were all in the kitchen waiting for our pizzas to arrive. Everybody is having different conversations with each other and I'm just on my phone. The doorbell rings and Peter jumps up from his chair and says, "Finally the pizzas are here. I'm starving." Tony makes his way to the door and pays for the food. When he comes back we were all very excited to finally eat something.

"Where have you been all this time? What's is your backstory?" Steve asks right before taking the first bite of the slice of pizza in his hand. 

"You don't have to answer if you don't want to," Nat says before I'm able to answer Steve's answer. Her comment makes everybody look at her confused and then at me.

"No it's okay, I mean they'd find out either way, "I say looking at Nat and then turning my head to the others. "When I say 6 years old (A/N: You are now 19 years old) I was taken by Hydra. While I was there they experimented on me with the tesseract. They were surprised and thought I was special because I should have died but as you can see I didn't," I said with a chuckle.

"They always kept doing experiments no matter how tired I was or how weak I was. They thought that, eventually, I'd gain powers or something but that never happened, that's why they always kept going." As I was saying that, I slowly looked down and then looked back up at them. They looked sad for me but also wanted me to keep talking. 

"Hydra also trained me to go on missions and tried to wipe my memory," I said looking at Bucky who turned to look at me when I told about them brainwashing.

"At first, it would work but not for long periods of time, they thought it was because of the experiment with the tesseract but I think it was because I kept a journal and whenever I wasn't doing anything I read and wrote in it. For some reason they trusted me, they didn't think that I would try to go against them." I stopped talking and took a bite of my pizza, they seemed sad except for Loki. It didn't look like he cared for what I was saying or what I had been through.

"One day, probably the first time in forever where they didn't have anything for me to do, I asked them to go outside. Because they trusted me they agreed to it. Me and one of their guards went outside. When we were somewhere no one could see us I started fighting the guard, causing him to faint and fall. I took that opportunity to escape. I just started running, I had no idea where I was but I just ran and never looked back. I hated that place, they destroyed me." I took another bite of the pizza in my hand and took of a sip of water that was in front of me.

"After I escaped, I found out where Nat was and went to see her. I stayed with her for some time but then thought it would be best if I had my own place and she agreed. I looked for houses and found a good one. I found a job and returned to a kinda normal life." I looked at Nat who had a forced smile and tears forming in her eyes. She didn't like it when I told people what happened to me because she felt guilty that I suffered and she thinks she didn't do a good enough job at protecting me.

"But I'm good and happy now, "I said with a smile. Loki scoffed quietly loud enough for me to hear, I glared at him. Apparently, Thor also heard him and said "Loki, enough" and took him by the arm and left the room with him.

We finished eating, it was quiet but people started talking to each other again. Bucky came over to me and said "Sorry for what happened to you, and sorry for the way I talking to you earlier." I smiled and told him it was fine.

"So that means there are in total 4 people that live here that were taken in by Hydra," Tony said, I gave him a confused look because I only knew about me and Bucky. "Wanda and Pietro as well," Steve said after seeing that I wasn't sure who the other 2 were.

After some time, people started leaving because it was late and they were tired, and after some time I did too.
