Lesson Twelve

Jin arose, feeling restored after a long nap. When he got home, he had gone straight to the shower and then to his bed to get some sleep. He needed it after the last couple of days he had.

Sitting up in bed, he found his phone and checked his messages; seeing a few missed ones from Namjoon, he smiled and responded, confirming his plans with him the next day. Next, he got out of bed, putting on a pair of shorts under his t-shirt, not wanting to go out of his room being improper.

Leaving his room, he goes to the kitchen, intending to call Jimin to check if he was home. However, to his surprise, Jimin was in the kitchen, looking into the fridge.

"I was just going to text you," Jin said, making his presence known.

Jimin shifted to meet him, "really? I tapped on your door earlier, but it seems you were sleeping."

Jin opened the pizza box on the counter, taking a slice, not caring who brought it, he needed to eat. "I was. It's been a crazy last couple of days. How was your day? Is now a good time to talk, or is he here?"

"No, no, now is fine. He is on a trip, left this afternoon. He won't be back until the weekend. Taehyung isn't here either, so now is perfect." Jimin said, following Jin, who moves to the kitchen table to have a seat.

Jin takes a seat, biting into his pizza; chewing it, he looks at Jimin, "so you are getting married?"

Jimin nods, "Yoongi said we could keep the baby, but only if we get married as his parents won't be happy that I am pregnant and we are not married. I don't think my parents will like it either, so I agreed; besides, we would get married anyway. We are just doing it earlier than intended."

Jin watched at his best friend while enjoying his pizza; he tried to process what he heard before he said anything more. He didn't want to come off as offensive, so he decided to listen and try to understand Jimin, "That's good that you are keeping the baby; you want it, right?"

"I do, so it makes me happy that he does too. I couldn't see myself doing an abortion. You know me, I could never forgive myself for that. I know we are young, but being a parent can't be that hard, and further, he and I, we love each other, we will make it work."

"I think no matter the situation, whether you had gotten one or not, that's your decision to make. Nonetheless, it's cool that he wants the kid now. However, seriously, what's going on between the two of you, and what was that with your brother this morning? Does Yoongi hit you?"

Jimin shifted his chair out and swayed his head, "oh gosh no, Yoongi is not like that. We argue, but all couples do that. Taehyung loves overreacting; once he saw something and he misunderstood, he even fought with Yoongi, breaking his wrist. It was so unnecessary and wrong. When I told my mom what he did, he got angry with me, saying I was defending Yoongi, but I wasn't. Taehyung was mistaken. I know he only moved in here because he wants to fuck with my life and my parents are stupid enough to allow him.

I don't know if you remember that week when I told you I couldn't come to school because I had a lot of drama dealing with? It was that time. Yoongi wanted to break up with me, and now he is irritated because he didn't expect Taehyung to be here, so I am trying to get Taehyung to stop causing problems in my relationship. Sorry about this morning; I didn't want you seeing that; it wasn't my plan to have that happen."

Jin sank back in his chair, "Taehyung fought with Yoongi, who did nothing, but he misjudged and believed Yoongi did something?"

"Yes, he has temper issues, my mom spoils him a lot, and he always thinks he is right and wants things his way. I care for him and try to be a good brother to him, but it doesn't work. Yoongi seems to think he is jealous that I have grown up and moved on in life. As the younger sibling, he hates on Yoongi and acts out because he doesn't want to see I am not a teen like him anymore. He is jealous I spend more time with Yoongi and that I travel all over, but I don't know how to help him. I always try to do things with him too, but all he cares about is sleeping around and doing all type of stupid shit."
