"We had great chemistry together from the start. I felt something for him. I felt chemistry; I felt an energy. I don't know, I can't explain it"- Ellen Pompeo

Ellen wasn't there yet, he was waiting on set in Meredith's living room. He thought while he was waiting he might as well strip down to his boxers even though they would eventually have to come off as well. "Nice ass" he heard from behind him, he turned around to see Ellen walk up to him in a robe. "Why thank you" he said laughing, "So Ellen you can go lie face down on the couch and Patrick you're on the floor next to her" Peter said to the two of them. "Patrick this is for you" he said tossing him a blanket. He sat down on the floor with the blanket on his lap, covering him as he took off his boxers, the cold floor was hard against his stomach. He looked up at the couch next to him to see Ellen's naked back, she was still wearing panties but she was completely topless. She was unfairly stunning; the expanse of her bare skin was smooth and begging to be touched. "Hey, eyes on the floor" she said raising her eyebrows, "Ok, ok" he replied chuckling under his breath.

The scene had started, he felt her small hand grip the blanket on top of him. The cold air hit his bare ass, shortly followed by a pillow, he could almost feel Ellen's eyes on him. He picked up the bra on the floor next to his head and held it up for her to take and said "This is, uh", "Humiliating on so many levels" she said taking it off of him. He couldn't help but admire her long legs, he could definitely get used to this, he could already tell that this was going to be a lot of fun. "You have to go" she said walking around the sofa. They cut the camera so he could awkwardly shimmy into a pair of boxers. "Why don't you just come back down here and we'll pick up where we left off" he said trying to look as convincing as possible. He could only imagine the fun they'd have if that was the way the script had been written. Letting a little bit of that lust slip into his gaze as he looked at her while she said "No seriously, you have to go, I'm late, which isn't what you want to be on your first day of work so-", she watched him get up from the floor. The purple blanket that was wrapped around her wasn't quite revealing enough to satisfy him. "So, you actually live here" he said looking into her eyes, he could almost see her brain ticking away behind them. "No, yes, kind of" she said holding the eye contact, he could see the intelligence in them, she had a way of drawing you in, making you want to listen to every word she had to say. "Oh, it's nice, a little dusty, odd but it's nice. So how do you kind of live here?" he said pulling up his jeans and buttoning them up. "I moved two weeks ago from Boston, it was my mother's house. I'm selling it" she said, "Oh I'm sorry" he replied, "For what?" she asked. "You said was-" he said looking back up at her, his hands fumbling around with his belt buckle. Trying his best to remain unfazed by the embarrassment of struggling to do up a simple belt. "Oh, my mother's not dead. She's- you know what? We don't have to do the thing" she said, he couldn't help but smile as she waved her hand about as she spoke. "Oh, we can do anything you want" he said smirking at her as he leaned across the sofa to retrieve his shirt. "No, the thing- exchange the details, pretend we care. Look, I'm going to go upstairs and take a shower, and when I get back down here you won't be here, so, um, goodbye, um-" she said still moving her free hand. Now his smile had turned into a full grin, "Derek" he said holding out his hand. "Derek" she repeated, once again, like when they met, he felt those familiar sparks where her skin touched his. "Right, Meredith" she said with that beautiful smile on her face, he had to get used to it because if just her smile affected him this much he'd be useless in other scenes, "Meredith" he managed to repeat. "Yeah, mmhmm" she said, their hands still clasped as he jumped over the sofa, neither of them were showing any signs of letting go. "It was nice meeting you" he said smiling as he saw her blush a little. "Bye Derek" she said letting go of his hand as she turned to run up the stairs, he couldn't help but watch, completely mesmerised by everything that she did.

She came back down the stairs, they'd shot the scene three times now from multiple different angles, Peter said "That was great guys, I think we have everything we need now". He nodded and watched Ellen walk up to him, "Do you want to go practice lines in the trailer?" he asked smiling at her. She laughed and shook her head, "Yeah of course but I'm going to go put some clothes on first, okay?" she said. "You know you don't have to but you do you" he said winking at her, she laughed again and rolled her eyes before leaving with her blanket wrapped around her.
