The childrens faces emanate innocence
Radiant and bright with joy
Unburdened by troubles
Carefree and happyThe teenagers faces are alight with laughter
Making fun of those around them
Soon they turn gray with reality
As it crashes back on themSocial politics rule our lives
The children escape for a while
Before they write their own rules
That govern our society
