Camilas pov

I was sat on my couch bored as hell, I look at my phone and go into my contacts. At first I was going to call Dinah to see if she and the others wanted to come over, but as I was scrolling I saw Lawrence's number.

It'd be rude if I didn't call him right?

I click his number and call him, it rings for a while then I hear a deep husky voice say.

"Hello?" I take a shaky breath

"Uh...hi, Lawrence, it's uhm camila...you gave me your number at the coffee shop, well actually on the back of my coffee cup" I ramble, I table on my leg and bite my bottom lip waiting for his answer.

Why am I so nervous?

"Hey camila" he said, I blush

"Hi" I say, he chuckles

"So, why are you calling me?" He asked

"Because you said too...on the coffee cup" I say

"Okay then, what's up?" He asked

"Uh, nothing just bored" I say

"Oh, so you only called me because you're bored" he said

"Well...yeh but I was going to get around to calling you, I've just been busy with work and school" I say

"It's cool, chill...how old are you?" He asked

"Just recently 19" I say

"Oh okay, I'm 19 too" he said

"Okay" I say

"Do you want to meet soon? Coffee maybe?" He asked, I giggle

"Uh okay, sure" I say smiling

"Awesome, it can't be at my work though, that's weird" he said

"Okay, as long as you're not going to murder me, I'm okay with where ever" I say, I lay back on my couch with a soft smile.

"Awesome, when are you free?" He asked, i think

"Well, I finish work around 7...would you mind a late night date?" I ask, then go wide eyed

What if he only meant to hang out as friends and I've just said it's a date.

"So it's a date now" he said, I stay quiet not sure what to say

"I best make sure I look good" he said, I smile wide

"You best" I say

"I'm cool with a late night thing, how about 10?" He asked

"Wouldn't most places be closed?" I ask

"The beach won't, we could have a beach thing, like I'll bring food and drinks" he said, I smile wide.

"Lawrence, it's only a first date" I say biting my bottom lip with a wide smile

"Yeh, but I want to leave a good impression" he said

"Okay...10, are you going to pick me up?" I ask

"Uh...yeh sure, text me where you live" he said

"Okay, how about Wednesday we do this?" I ask

"Sounds perfect" he said, I feel excitement fill my stomach

"Okay, I guess I'll see you then" I say

"You sure will, bye camila" he said

"Bye Lawrence" I say, he hangs up and I let out a little squeal

I feel like a 15 year old who's just been asked out of their first date, I wasn't even this excited for my first date.
