SKY's POV
I'm dreaming about my first encounter with Illiana when I heard someone crying. I opened my eyes and frowned the moment I saw the ceiling that's painted with cloud and angels.
Am I dead already? I asked mentally.
"Thank God you're awake Sky! How are you dear?" I turned on my right side and saw mom and dad.
"Where am I?" my mouth feels so dry.
"You're in the hospital dear" Dad said after wiping his tears of joy.
I tried to lift my hand but mom stopped me because it is connected to the dextrose. I opened my mouth to say something but no words came out again because I don't have much strength, and I feel groggy.
Why did I have that dream again?
"Take a rest okay? Don't move yet" she said gently while caressing my forehead, like I'm still a child.
"Mrs. Montreal, the test results from Orthopedic and Neurology came already" I heard the man with a deep voice said. He's probably the doctor.
"There's no serious injury found. Just a contusion and bruises on her abdomen area" he added.
"M...mom" I forced myself to speak. Their attention immediately turned to mine.
"Michael, is he okay?" I inquired as my tears started to form. I didn't get the chance to check on him because I already passed out.
"Michael is okay dear, the rest of them are, so please don't worry and take a rest okay?" she assured me while caressing my cheeks this time.
Thank God! I said mentally before falling asleep again.
Leave her alone, she doesn't have anything to do with your mom's death. Just kill me and leave!
It doesn't matter whether she have something to do with it or not. I'll kill whoever I want!
I opened my eyes immediately upon remembering Lady Mystique. I turned on my side and felt relieved when I saw Michael sitting beside my bed. His left arm is covered with bandage, as well as his head.
"How long have I been asleep again?" I asked while pressing the recline button on the side of the bed.
"Two days" he simply said. Mom and dad is not around so I asked him where are they.
"I told them to go home and take a rest, I'm already okay so I can be with you" he crossed his legs, and then he opened the TV afterwards. He looked so bored right now.
"Everyone is already discharged?" I asked again.
"Luis and George are fine, but Violet is still unconscious" my eyes widen in shock.
"It's already two days! Did she get shot or something?" I'm about to get off my bed but he stopped me by grabbing my arm. I don't care if my reaction is suspicious right now, all I care about is Violet.
"Didn't you hear what I just said? She hasn't gained consciousness yet, so there's no point of going to her room" he said sternly.
He's right, so I calmed down a bit.
"The Triad was the one behind the attack, and Lady Mystique was there. She said that she'll kill Violet regardless if she knows the truth or not!" I informed him while clenching my fist to control the anger that's starting to build up.
He fell silent and thought for a moment. They have no idea about what happened because I'm the only one that's conscious that time.
"That's strange though, the Triad does not have any connection with Berny as far as the evidence goes." He said after a moment. He released my arm afterwards.
