- nicknames: Ki, Tani, headphones, dull face - birthday: august 25th - age: 16 - height: 5'4 (162.5 cm) - hair color: black - eye color: dark grey - parents: Botan Taniguchi (40) and Nagi Taniguchi (36)
- quirk: EMT or Elemental Manipulation & Telepathy Kiyo can activate her quirk (which causes her eyes to turn purple-ish color) and focus on the elements made into any object in order to telepathically manipulate it however she wants. she can make things levitate, solidify, liquefy, explode, etc. her quirk also allows her to manipulate the four main elements, though she can't summon them (as in she can't create fire in the palm of her hand or shoot air from her body) this quirk runs off of her emotions, so if she's angry she can lose control and cause serious damage around her. the more emotional she is, the quicker her quirk works. her usual demeanor is calm and unbothered in order to prevent such things from happening. with this quirk she can also read minds. if a room is quiet she can hear the thoughts of everyone in it, but if the room is loud she has to focus on which mind she wants to hear. most of the time she wears her headphones to drown out the sound of the thoughts she hears, but she also just wears them because she likes to listen to music. this part of her quirk is on 24/7. the downside of her quirk is that it gives her headaches immediately after deactivating, since she uses her mind for her quirk to work. and if she uses it for too long she can have a terrible migraine to the point that she could faint. she once overworked herself so hard that she was unconscious for two days. long term affect can include brain damage.
