Judge Yugyeom. He scanned every inch of him as he stood in front of the man who was known in the industry as someone who was all about fairness and with a deep rooted need to make sure the truth would see the light.

He was honored to be a prosecutor for him. However, a clear frustration emerged as Judge Yugyeom requested something he didn't see coming.

The inclusivity of everyone that wasn't the lead attorney of the respective parties.

Rosé adamantly countered him, appealing to his senses and reasoning but he stood sternly and demanded only the leading attorneys to enter his chambers. He glanced over at Taehyung who nervously bit his lip and nudged at him to follow through with the demand.

He wasn't too sure why the Judge would deliberately dismiss the other lawyers from both parties but he was certain - once released - that Taehyung would inform them.

Rosé cursed under her breath as soon as the doors closed. She matched his frustration and puffed in annoyance before exiting the halls of the Courthouse.

He leaned against the large pillar and folded his jacket tight as the harsh Spring wind brushed on his face. He eyed the busy street ahead of him, taking in the scenery of his fellow lawyers preparing for their day while others rushed their way up the stairs. His gaze then landed on a tattoo-filled thug and a rather gorgeous blonde attorney in a red pantsuit.

The sight of her made him think of you.

You didn't look anything like her but her mannerisms toward the man - whom he assumed was a criminal about to appear in front of a judge - forced him to fixate on her.

She appeared tender, gently caressing the man's shoulder as she seemed to encourage him.

He was miles from them and couldn't make out what they were talking about but he couldn't help but stare at how elegantly her blonde locks swayed and danced with the wind.

Her concerned facial expressions making him think back to the evening you found him scrambling on the floor as sudden and excruciating pain from his shoulder crippled him.

It had to get worse before you even bother to notice him and his struggles.

"He's an idiot." Rosé exclaimed.

"We don't know what he wants. Let's not jump to conclusions."

Rosé paced, expressing her disappointment out loud as the sound of her heels mindlessly clashed on the stone-made ground, magnifying his irritation about the Judge's request and the abrupt and never-ending unwelcome thoughts of you.

➰ YOU ➰

A knock on your office door made you look up from the computer screen. Hwasa excitedly entered and threw herself on the chair in front of you. Removing your glasses, you bewilderingly eyed her as you patiently waited for her to speak, however, she decided to wave her iPad at you.

"Now before you say no," she began as she typed her password in, "I need you to consider how insane it would be." You took the iPad and proceeded to read an email that stated a desire to collaborate with you.

"No."

"Oh, come on!"

"Absolutely not."

You slid the iPad over and resumed to decide on which images would best showcase your artistry before leaving the art world for New York.
Then you caught Hwasa standing as she pleadingly approached you in a pathetic whine, begging shamelessly for you to reconsider your answer.
