There he was, your sweet and broken orgasm, with a confused look plastered on his face.

You exchanged a long and agonizing glance, one that made you shift awkwardly and second guess your decision before he held the door open for you.

You entered the familiar house of his brother and sister-in-law. Your entirety easing at the sight of the well-known surroundings that often made you feel welcomed. He closed the door behind you and an overwhelming sense of anxiousness pierced through your body.

Alone. With him. With Jungkook. Again.

There was a clear distance between you despite being mere inches apart.
Cautiously, you eyed him and watched as he removed the tea towel from his shoulder. The same shoulder that spilled so much blood.

The memory of you applying pressure on the wound your ex-fiancé had caused roamed your mind. The gut-wrenching fear you experienced as you cried out in agony, praying you would reach the hospital in time.

       "What are you doing here?"

"You told me to come over." You stuttered.

       "That was yesterday."

You ripped your gaze from him, embarrassment mixed with guilt brewing in the pit of your stomach, "Where's Taemin? Taemin, right?"

"Yeah. He's playing in the living room." He gestured and walked past you, "He's really enjoying that Iron Man." He leaned against the door arch with his folded arms.

You felt his eyes on you as you entered the living room. Taemin halted at the sight of you briefly before waddling over with the action figure in hand. Crouching, you smiled at the toddler as he proceeded to show you the gift you decided to get him.

Then it dawned on you, as Taemin blabbed incoherently about the toy, that Jungkook was doing the one thing you had been dreaming of ever since Jimin and Shey announced that they were pregnant. You were going to become an aunt of a beautiful little girl and you couldn't wait to spoil her rotten.

"Come on, Min Min," Jungkook took his nephew and brought him to his hip, "Time for bed."

Jungkook was upstairs for a long while and you decided to help him out. The pestering nerves and unendurable thoughts of what was to come made you more anxious.

You couldn't keep still and began to collect Taemin's toys from the floor and coffee table.

Then as you entered the dining room and kitchen area, you noticed that Jungkook had brewed some coffee. You helped yourself to a cup and decided to smoke a cigarette to calm down the creeping anxiety.

A smile appeared on your face when you stood in the backyard. You eyed the treehouse Jungkook was so fond of and you shared many late-night conversations in. A sign you hadn't seen before was hammered at the bottom of the tree's trunk, mentioning that the treehouse now belonged to Taemin.

Then as you exhaled the toxic fumes, you heard the door behind you slide open.
Jungkook eyed you with a raised eyebrow, his gaze fixated on the slender white stick between your fingers, "I didn't know you smoked."

       "I don't."

"Okay," he let out a sarcastic chuckle. "Want some coffee?" You gestured at the cup in your hand and he walked back inside to fetch himself one.

There were no words to describe the painfully obvious distance between you. Like a thunder-filled cloud casting its merciless rain and harsh wind upon you while a thick fog made it impossible to guess what the other was thinking.
