No,no--i'm not trying to begin a revolution.
This topic has been nagging me lately, because i just can't seem to understand people who define your worth and think they know about you just because you believe in certain things/ideas. Why is it so hard for many to keep an open mind that not everyone believes the same things as you do,and that you should respect that;don't force it down their throats? If someone, like your family,or close friend,is interested in exploring different aspects about what feels right to them to believe and follow, why should you restrain them from doing so? By threatening them that this---or that will happen;that you're betraying your family or whatever is that you're supposed to devote yourself to? Isn't life about finding meaning and seek for your true self? If anything,it should be encouraged to do something that makes you feel comfy and trusting!
And this leads me to another topic: I despise--no, dislike people who add their own ideologies and beliefs in their specific religion-and state that it's right,it's right,it's right! Like no sir/ma'am/fam, that's just your own ideas, and you shouldn't enforce it upon others. All you're doing is confusing people that you're tying to help and convert. Sorta like diet culture--where many 'professionals' tell you that oatmeal is bad, meanwhile others say that it's great. It can be a mess and make unnecessary conflicts.
