"don't worry, i'll be here when ever you feel like that again." you had said to me while you wrapped your arm around me, pulling me into a tight side hug. "i promise."
my heart did a little flip.
for once i wanted to believe, put my trust into something, anything.
so i took those two words to heart, believing them fully.
if that's true,
so here i am in the late morning, fully dressed, fully drenched.
looking down at my cracked dim screen to see our messages that read,
"meet up usual spot? not feeling too good, i need you."
and there it sat in all it's glory, "read. 2:13 a.m"
