Worth The Wait

Part 9, Where Is Annabelle?~

James' room-

The two of them walk in and James sets her duffle bag down on his bed.

"Hey, where is your brother?" Annabelle

"Probably out with some friends of his. He usually goes out on a Saturday." Bucky

"Ah, right, okay. He won't mind me being in here will he?" Annabelle

"I'm sure he won't." Bucky

"Please make sure you ask him anyway and tell me if he does mind, I'll sort something else out." Annabelle

"He's not going to mind, it's not like you'll be sharing a bed with him. You'll be in with me." Bucky

Bucky sits Annabelle down on his bed.

"Give a minute, I'll grab a rag to clean the blood." Bucky

"Thanks, love." Annabelle

Bucky kisses her forehead before walking out. He walks back in a minute later with the rag. He sits next to her and starts wiping the blood away and after a few minutes all the blood is wiped off and he places the rag down next to them and cups her face.

"Thank you." Annabelle

"It's kind of my fault, Doll." Bucky

"No, it's not." Annabelle

"Anna-" Bucky

"He wasn't mad because I was still talking to you." Annabelle

But if he wasn't mad about that what was he mad about? Annabelle hadn't done anything else but get engaged to me and he didn't even know we were engaged until I blurted it out. I looked at her curiously and waited for her to reply but she didn't say anything, so I pressed her for answers.

"Then why was he mad, Doll?" Bucky

"Because he found out you took my virginity." Annabelle

"What- how did he even find that out?" Bucky

Annabelle huffs and looks into her fiancé's eyes and she feels really bad for sharing something so intimate.

"Please don't me mad at me." Annabelle

"You told him?" Bucky

Obviously she had to have told him. Only a few people know and shes the only one who could have told him but why did she tell her father of all people?

"I didn't mean to, it just- it slipped out." Annabelle

She thinks I'm mad at her. I admit I'm not exactly happy that she told him but I'm not mad at her, it's as much her secret to share as it is mine but why did she tell him? Surely she wouldn't have just brought it up for no reason, unless she was doing it to anger him but I don't know why else she would tell him that.

"I'm not mad, Anna, but how can it just slip out?" Bucky

"He was accusing you of using me and said that as soon as you got what you wanted you'd leave me. He was implying that as soon as you took my virginity you'd leave me. I got angry and I told him you already had and he freaked out." Annabelle
