Part 10, Found And Lost~

Streets-

They were walking down the street and Bucky was determined to find Annabelle. He needed his girl back in his arms, where she was safe.

"Where are we going?" Morita

"We'll go to her parents house first." Bucky

"Lead the way, Buck." Steve

Bucky sets off in the direction of Annabelle's parents house and the others follow him.

Scotts' living room-

Bucky knocks on the door and Marie opens it and leads them into the living room.

"Mrs. Scott, we need to talk to you." Bucky

Marie obviously recognises Bucky and she gets really worried because Annabelle wasn't here with him. If she wasn't here, where was she? And why do they need to talk to us?

"You and your husband." Steve

Marie nods.

"Phillip! Some soldiers are here to talk to us!" Marie

A few minutes later Phillip walks in, clearly angry, but that didn't surprise the soldier, he was always angry.

"What is it? I'm a very busy man and I haven't got all day." Phillip

His eyes land on Bucky and he gets angry. What was he doing in his house? And where the hell is his daughter?

"What the hell are you doing here, soldier? Isn't it bad enough that you've defiled my daughter now you come back to speak with us?!" Phillip

"Phillip, stop it. Sergeant Barnes, why are you here? You should be with Anna-" Marie

"Mrs. Scott, we don't know where Anna is." Steve

Bucky's head drops down in shame at losing his fiancé. He promised to protect her but now he had absolutely no idea where she is.

"What?" Marie

Marie didn't even know what to say. She was speechless but Phillip on the other hand had a lot to say, and he was angry.

"What?! You lost my daughter?! You-" Phillip

Bucky cut him off before he could say anything else, not wishing to deal with him right now.

"I think you lost the right to call her your daughter when you kicked her out for agreeing to marry me." Bucky

"What happened?" Marie

The soldiers were all getting impatient. They needed to find Annabelle and soon, small talk and arguments were getting them nowhere.

"Is she here?" Steve

"No, we haven't seen her in over 6 months." Phillip

"What happened to my daughter?" Marie

Bucky felt really bad for letting this happen, he knew he shouldn't have brought her on the mission but the Colonel insisted. He should have fought him harder, told him that she would not be coming no matter the circumstances.
