light and dark (Kaebedo Oneshots)

Albedo sighed, how he wished he could just be back in Mondstadt with his boyfriend, Kaeya. He was lost in the thoughts of the cavalry captain so much that he didn't notice that it was already time to start heading home.

Albedo packed his bag and started heading back down the mountain, he started to lose track of time and his footsteps became less and less like walking and more like stumbling. All he could focus on was the path ahead of him, nothing else. He then heard a crack coming from beneath him, he looked down in horror and saw the ground breaking below him. He lost footing as he plummeted downward

tears were streaming from his face, He wouldn't be able to say his final goodbyes to anyone now, not to Klee or Sucrose or... Kaeya. All of a sudden everything went black

Albedo woke up, but his eyes were still closed. All he could hear was his own ears ringing and some muffled shouts, the shouts became more clear, someone was shouting his name. No, not just someone, Kaeya.

His eyes fluttered open and he was greeted by the sight of a relieved Kaeya who looked like he was about to cry, "Your ok!" Kaeya said. "Where am I?" Albedo whimpered, "Shhh, your ok, I'm right here" Kaeya looked at him with gentle eyes which made Albedo practically melt even though he was basically freezing.

Kaeya scooped up his boyfriend in his arms making him seem so small and helpless as he carried him back to Mondstadt.

Albedo woke up again with his head buried in his boyfriends chest, Kaeyas humming made his heart flutter. "Kaeya?" Albedo whispered, "Yeah love?" "Thanks", Kaeya Chuckled, "I told you that you needed to sleep more" he teased. Albedo only hummed in response, all he wanted now was to stay in his boyfriends arms
