3rd POV

Ava stared at Lorelei's text for quite a while now, she sighed,

'Saturday at 2PM.. I mean, let's weigh the pros and cons, Ava.'

She started, and continues to talk to herself,

'The pro is if I don't go I can just sleep more and do whatever I want without the weight of the world judging me on my shoulders! And the con is.. I can just sit here in my apartment.. In my room.. Doing nothing.. As always..'

Ava puts down her phone,

'I mean, everyone in my school has been going to the Fall Festival since we were young.. And Lorelei did say some friends from high school are going to be there for sure.. So there's no way around it.. But high school for me was..'

She closes her eyes, paused and looks back at her old memories in high school. She sighed,

'I mean, a lot of my school life was like that, but what if I see people I didn't like before, like..  Everyone..'

The silence got interrupted by the two Daemos and the werewolf,

'ASCH GIVE ME THE REMOTE!'

'OVER MY DEAD BODY!'

'THAT CAN BE ARRANGED!'

'CAN YOU GUYS SHUT UP FOR ONE DAY?!'

Ava giggled at their argument, and thought of something,

'Maybe they'd want to go?'

She asked herself. Ava stood up and went out of her room, but instead of the normal scent, she smells something.. Terrible,

'What the-?! Ugh, why does it smell so bad?!'

She covered her nose and mouth. She sees Y/n in the kitchen, far away from the Daemos so y/p won't have to smell their foul odor. Leif and Asch were still arguing about the remote and ignored Ava's question,

'Hey, hey time out!'

Asch lets go of the remote which made Leif fall. Y/n facepalmed at them. Ava asked why they they have beards and smell terrible. Leif stood up,

'I CAN ANSWER THAT! ..Rhys is having us conserve magic.'

Ava was confused, Pierce explained,

'He's concerned that at the rate we're using it, we won't have enough to return to Daemos.'

Y/n became curious, Ava on the other hand seems gloomy,

'Uh- Are you guys planning on returning soon..?'

Asch sighed and told Ava soon they will,

'We haven't really talked about it. We still need to talk about how we're gonna get- uh- uhm- I- who gets the remote!'

Leif nervously laughed, Ava looked at them and she thought they were hiding about the marriage thing. She sighed,

'Let's just talk about what's in front of us right now. So, what does conserving magic have to do with your smell and your.. Beards..?'

Y/n shouted from across the room,

'Maybe they don't have bathrooms in Daemos and they use magic? Duh, maybe, it's just a wild guess.'

The three Daemos looked at y/p, surprised, Asch was about to ask Y/n how y/p knows,

'Like I said, wild guess. Oh- so I was right-?'
