Maxim.
I'd lost concentration the moment she stopped by my office door. I'd been marking some scripts earlier but all traces of my concentration were tossed out of the window immediately I set my eyes on her through the CCTV footage.
Involuntarily, my mind flickered back to that fateful night. She was absolutely breathtaking and I couldn't stop myself from going over to her. It was the first time I'd approached a lady in a while because it was usually the other way around. That night was magical and I hadn't been able to take it out of my head.
But I had only one regret ; if I'd known karma would come knocking on my door with that same beautiful mistake, I'd have never left the comfort of my bed. Imagine my surprise when I saw her in the quad today. I was surprised, happy even but mostly disappointed because even if I'd wanted to continue with it, my stuck up professionalism wouldn't let me.
"Are you going to keep on standing out there,"I cleared my throat. She'd been standing out there and fumbling with the door knob for almost a half hour. If she doesn't stop, she might actually break the stuff ." Or actually come in?"
"I'm coming." I watched her roll her eyes before pushing the double doors open , her eyes adjusting to the dimly lit environment. My office was partially huge with rows of books lining up on all four bookshelves in the room. The lightning was a tad dark, but with just enough shade for me to actually read in. Yeah, I was myopic but I still enjoyed reading in the dark . From the comfort of my desk at the centre of the room, I watched as she sauntered majestically towards me and propped unto the empty seat in front of me.
Her dressing right now was different from the other night. Then, she was hot and sexy, a good amount of cleavage popping out of her red wooly dress. While on the other hand, her bogus hoodie and ripped jeans actually made her cute with her scrunched up nose high in the air.
"I didn't ask you to sit." I said pointedly, trying my hardest not to stare at her chest area for too long." And why have you been standing outside my door for the past half an hour?"
"I don't think I need your permission." As if noticing my gaze, she crossed her arms over her chest, blocking my view.." How do you know about that? Are you psychic now?"
" There's a camera out there and I can see everything that happens in that hallway." I smirked." So what can I do for you? Why weren't you in class today?"
"Why don't you just murder me with your questions already?." Another eye roll. I was definitely bugging her but for some strange reason, I was enjoying it too." Why do you care?"
"Oh you know." I shrugged, a smug smile playing on my lips. "Just checking up on my favorite stalker."
She twisted her face in rage and if she could hit me at that moment, she definitely would.
"For the last time," I heaved." I'm not stalking you!"
"But here you are." I reclined in my swivel , propping my arms behind my head and flexing my taut muscles underneath my plaid shirt." Two nights after, yunno..."
"Have I told you how much I hate you?" She was on the verge of exploding but I was just getting started." Because I hate you so fucking much."
"If that's the case then why are you here?" I quirked my eyebrow." Tell me."
"I'm here because I want to talk." She sighed, rubbing her temple over and over again like the action itself would calm her down." Don't you feel weird after that night?"
"Not really." I shrugged nonchalantly." I already told you, I don't do second chances. So I think you should kill that thought that we'd ever continue that shit."
