Preeta was laying on the hospital bed.
Karan had gave her some tranquillizers to keep her calm. He sat there holding her hand and caressing her hair.
Karan: Kia hal hogaya hai tumhara Preeta? Kia hua tumhare sath kash mujhe pata hota to jisne bhi tumhara ye haal kia hai main use zinda na chorta.
Rishab comes into the room and gives Karan a sympathetic look.
Rishab: Karan ab kesi hai Preeta?
Karan: Bhai pata nai bht disturb hai.
Vitals to thik hain but weakness hai
ise aur stress bhi.
Rishab: Tune poocha nai unse k aisa kion hai

Then he kissed her forehead and came out with Rishab

Rishab: Preeta ki examination k bad jo reports ayi hain un main likha hai ke she has been assaulted. Unki body par bht sare marks aur scars hain . Accident ki injuries k ilawa bhi aisa lgta hai jese unhe torture kia gaya hai.
Karan looked at his brother in shock . He took the reports from him and read them. His eyes widened in disbelief. Anger began to course through his veins.
Karan: Bhai ye sab kia hai. Usk sath koi aisa kese karskta hai. Meri Preeta k sath. Main use bacha kion nai paaya . Itne saal main sochta raha wo kahan hai kia wo thik hai? Lekin maine kabhi sapne main bhi nai socha tha k usk sath ye sab hoga
Rishab: Karan mere bahi tu himmat rakh . Agar tu himmat nai kare ga to Preeta ko kon sambhale ga. Aur yaad rakh tu aik Dr hai. Tujh par aur bhi logon ki zimadari hai.Apne ap ko sambhal aur Preeta ka sahara ban.
Rishab words hit Karan and he realized that he must be strong for Preeta.
Karan: Thik kaha tune bhai. Lekin jisne bhi ye meri Preeta k sath kia hai usko iski sza dilwa kar rahon ga.
Rishab patted his back and agreed to him.
Karan went inside the room and Preeta was awake , lying on the bed and staring towards the ceiling with a blank look.
Karan rushed towards her side.
Karan: Preeta tum kab uthi? How are you feeling? Kahin dard to nai hai ?
He checked her vitals and made sure she was alright.
All this time she lied there staring blankly at a point.
Karan sat down beside her.He took her hand in his hand.
Karan: Preeta meri taraf dekho.
Preeta turned her head and looked at Karan with empty eyes.The emptiness of her eyes was killing him.
Karan: Preeta jo tum kar rahi thu wo blkl ghlat tha. Suicide is not an option. Tum ne aik bar bhi mera nai socha?
Preeta: Mera koi nai hai jisko farq prta. Main maron ya zinda rahun kisi ko koi farq nai pre ga.
Karan was shocked by her words. She seemed so hopeless so sad. He wanted to engulf her in his arms and take all the pain away from her.
Karan: Main tumhare sath hun aur hamesha rahon ga.
Preeta: Kion Karan? Tum kion rhna chahte ho mere sath? Main to tumhe kayi saal phle akela chor gai thi nafrat kion nai krte tum mujhse?
Karan: Main tumse kbhi nafrat nai krskta.
Preeta: Karo ge aik din. Jab tum sachai jano ge tum bhi mujhe chor do ge.
Karan : Aisa kbhi nai hoga.
Preeta doesn't answer him and turns her face again towards the ceiling.
Karan decides to find out what happened with Preeta but he couldn't rush her or her health will be at stake. He decided to pursue her to go with him to the Lutra house.
Karan: Preeta?
Preeta: Hmmm
Karan: Mere sath chalo Luthra house . Wahan sab tumhe dekh kar bht khush honge.
Preeta: Nahin karan main tum par bojh nai ban skti. Main recover hokar yahan se chali jaon gi.
Karan: Kahan jao gi?
Preeta looks at him with a pained look
Preeta: Koi to jagah mil hi jaye gi mujh jese la waris logon k liye
Karan: Khud ko aisa mat kaho Preeta. Maine kaha na main hamesha tumhare sath hun. Aur tum mere sath Luthra house chalo gi. Be my guest ok?
Preeta thought for some time and then agreed with him.
Karan: Good main tumhe kuch nai hone dun ga.
Tears come to her eyes. He wiped then off and cupped her face. Her eyes started closing due to exhaustion and medicines.
Karan: Lgta hai the medicine has kicked in . Tum rest karo Preeta. Jab utho gi tab bhi mjhe yahin pao gi .
He started caressing her hair and she slowly fell asleep.
After making sure she is all aright and asleep, he pressed a kiss to her forehead and left the room.
Karan takes a round and checks all his patients. He visits the Elder lady and make sure she is alright.
He once again checks Preeta and her vitals and goes to his cabin.
He enters there and sees Rishab sitting on the couch .
Rishab: Main tera hi intezar kar raha tha. Kesi hai Preeta?
Karan: Thik hai stable hai. Abhi medicine ka asar hai is liye sorahi hai.
Bhai maine tujhse aik bat krni thi.
Rishab: Han bol na.
Karan: Bhai main Preeta ko Luthra house lekar jana chahata hun . Uski halat abhi thik nai hai aur main use dobara khone ka risk nai le skta. Kia ye thik faisla hai?
Rishab: Mere bhai agar tu ye faisla na bhi krta to main tujhe yehi mashwara deta. Preeta abhi trauma main hai , usk k liye change of environment behtar hoga aur abhi hum koi risk bhi nai le skte jab tak unk sath ye sab karne wala azad ghum raha hai.
Karan: Mujhe pata tha bhai tu mujhe samjhe ga Thanks for understanding.
Rishab: Meri jan tujhe main nai samjhon ga to kon samjhe ga. Chal ab ghar chlte hain.
Karan: Bhai wo Preeta.....
Rishab: Wo thik hain aur so rahi hai. Tu uski tension na le yahan sara staff hai wo unka ache se dhiyan rakhe ga. Tujhe bhi abhi rest ki zaroorat hai aur mom bhi intezar kar rahi hongi.
Karan : Thik hai bhai chlte hain.
