The Number Hunter: Part 1

It was a normal peaceful day for the people's who live in Heartland city, over at Heartland Shopping Mall, a female reporter appear on the holo-screen of the mall.

"We here at the city shopping center where, where an unknown invididual has blockade all access point from the top floor. We understand...." She was cut off when one of the Heartland City's cleanup robot, a LitterBot fall down from one of the high floor as it crashed onto the hard surface on the mall floor, making the crowd around it the fallen bot, scream for their lives as they run for cover incase if there are anymore bots came fallen down from above

"Now you're trash. Dumb litter-bot." The thug commented to the defeated litter-bot as he was seeing holding a wooden baseball bat. "Don't forget to recycle...." the litter-bot said as it rotate it face around in a circle

"Hey! Watch it from up there!" Yuma called out as he, Tori and Sakura stood there watching the commotion from the ground floor

"For the last time, make goods on my command or the hostages are gonna get it" He swung the bat at them, making them yelp out in fear and terror.

The thug walk over to the police that stood outside the barricade. "I'm warning ya, I mean business, the clock's ticking" the thug exclaimed

"And so the standoff continue. Is it uncertain if the authorities are planning on meeting his demand of money and a helicopter. We will have to wait and see" the news reporter said as the trio watch through the screen

"Ah, man! Not good" Yuma commented, just before they heard whirling sound. It was Yuma duel gazer. "Huh?" He asked, confused before he pick it up and answer the call

"Yuma!" Yuma winced at the sound of the voice. It belong to Kari, Yuma older sister. Her face appear on his screen on the duel gazer.

"You're at the shopping mall right now, aren't you?" Kari asked her younger brother

"Are you saying that 'I goofing off at the mall,instead of doing my homework? How dare you!" Yuma lied as Sakura faceplam herself. Yuma can't tell a lie in order to save his life.

"But you are" Tori said

"Zip it" He told Tori, not wanting to get into more trouble

"Tori right!" Kari said as Yuma face turn to shock. How the devil did she know. "And do I know that she is right? Cause I'm watching you three musketeers right now on live tv!" Kari shouted through the duel gazer as the trio that consist of Sakura, Tori and Yuma all looked up, the trio then saw themselves on the same tv.

"Busted" Yuma said as Sakura snigger,before the three turn their attention toward Kari. "Now go and find out what going on,so I can get a scoop!" She shouted as Yuma winced at the tone of her voice. Kari quickly hang up

"People's said it tough being a reporter? Well they should try being a brother......" Sakura pat him on his back as she offered him a sympathetic smile.

"May help in the investigation" the newsreporter carried on as the screen turn from her to the back of thug that holding hostages, as he quickly turn around. "Quit stalling" He angrily announce. "Or you be sorry"

"Who is this guy?" Yuma asked. Just then, both Yuma and Sakura pendant began to glow as Astral and Anubis materialize infront of them. "Look there" Astral told Yuma as Anubis look up in the same direction as Astral - the top floor of the mall

"Huh?" Yuma asked. They looked as they saw the thug have the purple number: 56 mark on his left shoulder

"Yuma, it a number card" Sakura said as she heard a sinster laugh in her head. She clutched her head in pain as Anubis and Astral look at her,worried.
