Frozen in Time

Heartland Tower:

It had been roughly a couple of hours, after the events that lead to the laboratory that Kite and Orbital 7 use to experiments and locate Numbers Cards, located near the Heartland Pier to explode on sight.

Inside the tower, Kite stood over Hart by his bed,  watching the frail and sickly little blue-haired boy, laying restless in comfort and warmth of his bed, no doubt recovering from overusing his powers, Kite mind wonder back to the events that currently happened not long ago 

"Little brother. There's been a complication. A kid named Yuma has partnered up with the envoy from Astral World. And his friend, Sakura has partnered up with an unknown envoy from the past. Like me, they've been gathering Numbers... but I promise you, I will take care of them"

Next Morning, at the Tsukumo residence:

"Gaaah! Late!" Yuma exclaimed as he was fully dress in his school uniform as he quickly ran down the stairs and into the living room, once again late for school. This was until he was stop in his path by Kari, who was sitting on the sofa, working on her next scoop

"Hang on a second, Yuma" Kari call out to her younger brother 

"I don't have a second. I'm gonna be way late" Yuma said as he was jogging in one spot

"The clothes that you dumped on the floor when you came home last night, smell like smoked fish" Kari exclaimed as Yuma look on at her with a shock look on his face, as he continue jogging on spot, but Kari wasn't done yet 

"And this morning, I read, there was an explosion at a warehouse down at the pier district" Kari said as she shown Yuma the picture of the burning building, ( unaware that her brother was apart of causing it to explode), "You weren't there last night....were you!?" Kari asked, suspicious of her younger brother

"Of course I wasn't" Yuma quickly denied her accusation. "Can I please go to school now. I don’t wanna be late" 

"They're saying it was an electrical fire, but this have 'cover up' written all over it. Heartland Enterprise own that building and big media so....." Kari was about to explain more of her findings and theories, but she was cut off by her younger brother

"Well, that's really cool! Gotta go! Catch you later" Yuma said quickly, as he rush out of the living room

"Yuma!?" Kari call out to him, but she was cut off by the sound of the front door

Outside:

Yuma was seen running through the streets, towards the way to Heartland Academy, while passing a few LitterBot's on his way, as he was carrying a ball of rice, which look like duel food, inside his mouth. During his run, his key began to glow as Astral materialize at the side of the running boy

"Your sister is quite intuitive." Astral commented on Kari, to which he startled Yuma as the latter drop the rice ball on to the concrete floor below. "She will eventually find out what you are involved in." He said as the duo stop

"What matter to me is that my key is safe, also Sakura's pendant,and we also got Shark soul's back. Oh, and I'm glad that you're okay too" Yuma replied as Astral let out a small humn as his lips twitched up into a smile

"I must admit, I am still a bit shaken. The fact that Kite has the power to enter your key is most concerning..."

"Yeah, he's full of surprises. It like every time I think I'm starting to figure him out, he throw a curveball. Who is he!?!" Yuma exclaimed "race ya!"
