Airalain's name comes from a cross between the name Carolyn and the word "aura". It's also a subtle nod as to how fast she can run. She is also Alison's twin sister, which is inspired by my dad and his stillborn twin sister whom I never knew about until after Dad passed. So Airalain is a subtle shout out to an actual relative.
