If Talia didn't have a faceclaim lmaoooo, legit exactly how I imagine her

His hands were on her hips, his lips on her skin and his body against hers.

Klaus kissed her forehead, pulling away from her as he brushed her curls away from her face, resting her back inside the Governor's house. He sped away an instant later and she stood on the doorstep, the door open behind her with Rebekah in the foyer.

The blonde took her elbow, quietly leading her inside as she went to go argue with Hayley about her protection. "I don't care if we have to get you a leash." The blonde snapped, releasing Talia as she felt her stiffen at the touch. "That was your last trip to the bayou." Rebekah grabbed a bottle of whiskey, popping off the cap and poured herself a glass. "What is it with you and those wolves, anyway?"

Talia turned, heading up the stairs to escape the private conversation. Hearing more voices join the conversation, though, she halted on the stairs and turned.

Elijah stood at the bottom, staring into the sitting room where, presumably, Hayley was. His dark gaze lifted, meeting Talia's with a smile building on his lips. Elijah had been the only thing keeping her from going mad for five months when Klaus ghosted her out of the blue and now he was back.

She made her way down the stairs, pulling him in for a tight hug. "'Lijah."

"Talia." He hugged her back, though paused when he presumably smelled the injuries on her abdomen. "What happened?"

The Companion pulled away, her hand flying to the bandaged area and she looked away, unable to get the words to leave her mouth. Unable to explain to her family why she had disappeared off the face of the earth for a month.

"This is about you, 'Lijah, leave the rest for later." She shrugged looking to Klaus who smiled wanly and  lifted his arm, offering for her to tuck herself safely against him. Like a buffer to the dangers of the world. So she did, her arm sliding around his waist as she secured herself at his side. A Queen with her King.

"Now that you're home, is your first plan to kill Niklaus?" Rebekah queried, tilting her head in her half brother's direction with a smug smile.

Elijah lifted his hand, following Hayley's departure with his eyes. "Excuse me, just a moment." He trailed after her, leaving the two blonde siblings and Talia alone in the foyer.

Rebekah looked utterly confused by the mere idea of Elijah fancying Hayley, her blue gaze darting between the soulmates. "Where's he going?"

Talia shrugged, looking up at Klaus and squeezed his side with her fingers. "Nik, can you, um, make me a sandwich?"

He nodded, kissing the side of her head and released her, walking towards the kitchen with her trailing behind. "You're happy he's back, love?" He remained light, conversational, but she could sense the underlying jealousy.

His baby mama already had a thing for his brother, he worried his soulmate would, too. Talia shrugged, settling down at the kitchen counter. "Elijah was kind to me, when you weren't so much. But, he's not my soulmate and he's not my boyfriend. He's my family."
