Talia rested against the counter in the the mansion's kitchen, sipping her tea as she watched Klaus read the paper. "So, are we gonna pretend everything is normal?" The dark haired Companion exaggeratedly glanced at the dead girl's body on the breakfast table that Klaus currently sat at.
"Is it not?" The Hybrid looked up, closing the newspaper and smiling at her when her phone buzzed on the counter.
She glanced at the caller ID, frowning at the unknown caller symbol before picking up. "Talia Monroe speaking, who is this?"
"Talia, it's Zane."
Talia rose a brow and glanced at Klaus, who shrugged and leaned forward, listening carefully. "Hello, traitor, what do you need?"
"I know where Klaus's coffins are, they're in the old witch house."
Talia shut off the call, not bothering to say goodbye as she placed her empty mug of tea in the sink and grabbed her sneakers by the door, pulling them on.
Klaus was at her side in an instant, gripping her elbow lightly and stopping her. "You seem excited, why?"
"Klaus, you do realize I do get along with Rebekah, yes? And that I would miss her in her absence, yes?" She gripped his shoulder with her right hand. "Now, Nik, let's go get your family back."

Talia stepped into the dusty house, the floor creaked eerily beneath her feet and she batted away a few spare cobwebs. The Companion glanced back at her soulmate who was looking around with disgust before the two headed down the stairs.
The brunette trotted down the steep steps, skippings the ones that seemed about rotten through. She paused at the bottom of the steps, eyes landing on a dark haired vampire with piercing blue eyes.
"And who in Hell's name are you?" He sped forward, standing in-front of Talia who didn't bother flinching.
Klaus was at her back in a moment, standing protectively as he eyed who Talia knew was Damon Salvatore. "Talia Monroe, your worst nightmare. Where's our family?" She crossed her arms, glaring at him with a look of ferocity. She had known the vampire back when he was an emotionless prick and high on life, she wasn't shocked he didn't remember her.
The vampire glanced between her and Klaus, a look in his eyes that Talia could assume lead to an idea that was completely false. "Mm, I was wondering if you had a girlfriend, seems like I was correct. Who is this? Your wife?"
Before Klaus could say a word, the Monroe girl had slapped the vampire across the face. "I'm his best friend, fucktard, not his wife."
She then fell to the floor as a piercing headache screamed through her skull, which only affected Klaus the same way. "Yeah, the witches here don't like violence unless they're causing it."
"Just show us the damn coffins, Salvatore," Talia hissed, holding her head in pain.
Klaus was keeling forward, his voice strained when he spoke. "The funny thing about witches is that living, or dead, they care about their own. A hundred dead witches has a thousand living descendants and I am prepared to end the Bennett line as we speak if you do not stop."
The pain immediately subsided and Talia sighed in relief, shaking her head and stepping into the room that Damon had been in. "Please show us the coffins," the girl called out, watching as three coffins appeared.
She glanced at Klaus who was staring at them with a look of anger. "Where's the fourth? Show it to me!"
Talia paused, glancing at Damon's smug face and back to the room. "They can't, Nik, it's not here. Salvatore, what the fuck did you do?"
Damon laughed lowly, looking between them. "You see, Bonnie gave me the head's up. I didn't have time to get out all four, but I was able to get one. Before you start threatening me, the same rules apply. You know, leverage and all. I know you want your family back, but something tells me that whatever is in that coffin, you want a lot more."
The vampire left and Talia and Klaus both turned to the coffins. "Are you gonna wake them?"
"Not yet, I need to make sure it's safe for them. Rebekah isn't here." He brushed the dust from Elijah's coffin with a sigh and Talia nodded slowly.
She studied his back, watching as he opened Kol's coffin and looked down at his younger brother. "What's in the last coffin, Klaus?"
He lifted his head, meeting her chocolate gaze before closing his brother's coffin. "My mother."

Talia was sitting on the couch as Klaus and a hybrid named Daniel conversed. "What busine--" Before Daniel can finish talking he was cut short.
The Companion turned to see what had happened, her eyes landing on the dead hybrid and then moving to Elijah who stood there holding a bloody heart. "So, Niklaus, what did I miss?"
"Elijah." Klaus looked shocked, staring up at his older brother who whipped out a handkerchief to wipe his hand.
Elijah, or 'The Noble Mikaelson' as Klaus had once drunkenly admitted to her, approached his brother and Talia shifted apprehensively, readying herself to jump in between the two Originals if need be. She had seen Elijah before, from a distance, but had never met him and Niklaus had never let his brother know of Talia's status in his life.
So, her being less than ten feet from the elder Mikaelson was not good.
The man took a step closer and Talia slipped off the couch, pressing her back to the wall so she could see what was happening but Elijah couldn't see her. "You appear surprised to see me, so you were not the one to remove the dagger in my chest?"
"You appear as if you could do with a drink, we have a lot to discuss."
Talia's head snapped to the side and blood began to drip from her nose after what sounded like Klaus getting thrown through glass filled the air. She sprinted into view, jumping between the furious vampire and the Hybrid. "Stop!"
"Talia, what're you doing?" Klaus was up and at her side in a moment, his eyes furious. "What is it with you and putting yourself in the face of danger?"
She whirled on him, a look in her eyes that showed off her evident annoyance. "You two are both idiots, you're a thousand years old, for God's sake, not children. Stop acting like it. You, Klaus, should apologize for daggering Elijah when there was no need, and you, Elijah, tried to kill him! Your brother! So stop being such a ding-bat and get over yourself." She stepped back and looked back and forth between the Mikaelson boys.
Elijah shook his head and rose a hand, eyeing the brunette with perplexion written across his face. "Pardon me, but, who are you?"
Talia sighed and pinched the bridge of her nose before holding out her hand with a smile. "Talia Monroe, Klaus's soulmate, best friend, companion for all time, and resident bitch. Nice to officially meet you."
