Looking back at what he did he realized it was stupid and risky, now she'll always be on alert around him and that'll just delay his plans.
Sitting on edge of his bed, looking around his bedroom he couldn't help but smile, his best friend had tried to make this room as close to his original room. Black polished walls with a hint of white in the room like the bed, his study table and the chair. Suddenly one painting on the wall catched his eyes. As he walked closer to the painting he realized why this place felt like home even though it was far from it. "Evan come out I know you can see me" He said tiredly. "Oh boy how do you always catch me" his best friend says in a tone dripping with fake sweetness that he used whenever he wanted something, they always did. Glancing back at the painting which was just a plain mirror instead of the extravagant painting of a devil sucking the soul out of a man, his wife and children crying and begging at the devil's feet. The look on their faces was what made this painting so valuable apart from its magical property. Their faces was mixed with a look of confusion, hopelessness, hurt and anger perfectly balanced to create a beautiful view. Suddenly he remembered the face of Sarah when he was choking her, it was the same look and he couldn't help but feel a pang of guilt. Shaking his head he continued thinking about the painting, the fact that this painting was made as a gift to one of my ancestors who had been painted during his feast. Right now the painting was serving as a portal through which he could see his best friend making the face he does before asking him to do something against his wish."What is it that you want now" he asked plainly. "Well nice to see you too" Evan scoffed "And as for I want you very well know" he continued. "Just get to the point Evan I'm tired as it is and all I want to do is sleep" he said emotionlessly. "Yeah tired of trying to kill the girl who you are supposed to protect right? " Evan asked furiously. "Wait how do you know?... Actually you know what don't answer me, I'll do whatever I want to she's mine after all" he replied. "Dude she's no property of yours, you know it was clearly written in the prophecy... " Evan was cut short by a now furious boy trying to keep his calm and not break the mirror. "I know what the prophecy said Evan, she's bad news that's what she is. It was clearly stated in the prophecy-

'When they meet again
Darkness and brightness
Darkness shall perish
Coz the light of love will shine more brighter than ever
Repeating the same fate again and again
Until everything vanishes
And nothing is left anymore. '

" Now tell me Evan how's this any good news, the fact that there was a picture of us together from Satan knows when and all of this was in my late father's belongings, what do you think I should do. Wait for her to kill me? "he questioned. " No but what if the prophecy isn't the way you are deciphering it, what if it's something else. " Evan tried to persuade his best friend, he can't help but get a bad feeling out of this. "No Evan I have decided I'll have to kill her before she ends me, I can't let that happen. A puny mortal can do nothing to me, one of the greatest devil's son" he smirked while already forming a plan to carry forth his intentions in that cunning mind of his. "I can't help but feel like you are going to regret all this Acheros, but by then it'll be too late" said Evan with a small sigh knowing full well he can't change his best friend's mind anymore.
