My mom convinced me and Brooklynn to get new outfits for dance today. Im kind of excited, not really. Brooklynn is though.
"This one is perfect for you Brooke!" my mom says. My mom is a nerd for fashion. I guess I should know that considering shes a fashion designer. Brooklynn is too, I sometimes feel out of the picture.
"Its okay." I say. "This one?" Brooklynn says. "Nah, its kinda ugly." Brooklynn looks offended. "Oh! This one!" Its was a green oversized flowy tank top with black shorts.
"Are you sure?" My mom says. "Yes! Im sure!" I say. Green is my lucky color. I was wearing green when I found out we won regionals, when I got onto the nationals team, and yesterday when I got onto Dream Dance Company.
"Okay, lets buy it." My mom says. "Im so excited!" Brooklynn says.
"Im just excited for tomorrow when we can start practicing for regionals." I say. "Already?" My mom says. "Yeah, the dances have to be perfect mom." I say.
"Look at this!" Brooklynn says pointing to black tights and white polka dotted shirt. "Do you want it?" My mom says. "Uh, yeah!" Brooklynn says. "Lets buy it!" My mom says.
