Chapter thirty-three: Saying Our Goodbyes

''It's all packed'' Levi said as he walked into the living room

He walked in and saw you crying

''Hey, what's wrong?'' Levi asked as he pulled you to his chest

''Nothing. It's just a little hard you know'' You said as you listened to his heartbeat

''I know. But we have to say our goodbyes'' Levi said

''I know, it's just......so much happened in this apartment...and it's hard. I grew attached to it'' You said as you snuggled deeper into Levi's chest

''I did too. You know, I'm glad Kate and Erwin decided to put us together'' Levi said

''And why's that?'' You asked

''If it weren't for them I would've never met you. Never hugged you, never called you a liar, never kissed you, never listened to your problems, never tasted your great food, never met your family, and lastly never had fuck-''

''SHH'' You placed your hand on his mouth

Levi chuckled

''But if it weren't for you. I would probably be in some bar, drinking, alone'' Levi said

''But look at me now! I'm fucking married. Y/N, I'm married. And I have a kid for fucks sake. I remember when I was a kid I used to think that I will die alone. In a sad and painful death,'' Levi continued

''But now you have me and B/n. So you will never get rid of us'' You said as you chuckled

''You know I was thinking'' Levi started

''Yes?''

''What if we would only rent it out for someone? What if we won't sell it. Maybe B/n could come live here. When she's older and hopefully in college'' Levi said

''I don't know. I mean, I don't want to sell it'' You said

𝙒𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙚𝙧'𝙨 𝙥𝙤𝙫

It's like people say. People grow attached to the smallest of things. For some it's a toy, for some it's a teacup, for some, it's a necklace, and for Y/N and Levi, it was the two-bedroom apartment for 2800 dollars. The memories, the feelings, the emotions they have felt and experienced in this small apartment were irreplaceable. They couldn't express how much this small apartment meant to them.

But B/n grew older. Soon she would start first grade. Unfortunately, the two-bedroom apartment grew too small for the family and Levi wanted even more children. In the last six months, he's been begging Y/N for another baby.

They all had grown up in a way.

 Kate and Erwin had their family. Y/N and Levi did as well and Hange and Misa adopted six cats and they have their little family. Even though they all started their "adult lives" they still were in close contact with each other. They would often hang out. Kate, Hange, and Misa still being the crazy ones. Erwin being the dad and Levi being the cold asshole and Y/N just being the sunshine of the friend group.

In a way, they were all still the stupid college kids they were ten years ago. But in a way they were adults. They had their lives, jobs, and families.

But friendship never dies
