You're my Music!

Episode-2

I walk down and hear Amma hustling through in the kitchen, making as many things that I can carry so I won't starve when I go to chennai, right before I can reach the kitchen, I walk towards our prayer room, where my favourite ammachi is doing her vocal practice and her prayers, she loves music as much as she loves us, she teaches Carnatic music to the kids around, she is my Guru.

I go and sit next to her and join in her prayer song, she smiles looking at me, a smile that reminds me of my father's face, cause their smiles are beautiful and it brightens our lives.
We windup the practice session and come out to see my brother lazying on the corridor, we all go and sit around to eat breakfast together.

My day just went in a blink, I had so many last minute things to settle, finally I am here bidding my family goodbye, I forced my family to not come along to chennai with me, so I had a friend who joins ammachi's Carnatic classes during her summer vacation make arrangements for my stay, with a heavy heart as the train horns for its departure I wave my family goodbye, hiding my sadness, I can see my brother weeping, mumma is teary but she is trying to be strong and ammachi, I can't quite figure out if she is happy or sad, but I can see in her eyes she is proud of me, her granddaughter.

I settle down in my seat, the side lower berth, looking out from the moving train is another favourite thing i like to do, with some beautiful old dad's favourite collection of songs playing in my ears from my phone and night train journey is a bliss, I am excited for a new phase in my life, with big dreams and heart full of love passion and compassion waiting for the day break.

Meanwhile in Chennai:

A magnificent bungalow facing a private beach, Four friends chilling out on the terrace jamming, a perpetual set up,
Gautham Menon - Base guitarist and a vocalist.
Pradeep Thomas - Drummer
David Rosario - Pianist
Sam Vishal - Main Vocalist and Guitarist.

These Four friends are together since the time they can remember of their existence, the thing that binds them together is Music, The Brats Band, the name so apt, the four mischievous brats.

Sam Vishal is the Son of Big Business tycoon Rajan Sriram and A renowned Carnatic music singer Latha Rajan, The only heir of the big business empire and also a very talented singer, the lead of his band, the heartthrob of his college and the champions of any music competitions for students across the city, with a crazy fan base, currently doing his final year in bachelors of arts in music.
His world is very small, his parents whom he loves to bits and his band of brothers, a very private person, a man of few words, who protects his friends like a shield.

Gautham Menon close friend of Sam, more of a brother, he is the human form of Sam's personal dairy, his parents are in America so he is staying along with his grandparents, a very soft spoken and compassionate person.

Pradeep Thomas - The notorious of all, the one who gets into trouble constantly, Sam is his saviour, his parents are government employees who are mostly busy, so he mostly hangs out at Sam's place, he is Sam's mums favourite.

David Rosario - A complete introvert, his world is music, son of a divorced parents, raised by a single mother, if not for these boys, his life would be a nightmare, he loves Sam blindly, and Sam has special soft corner towards him, he will be there in the drop of a hat if his friends need him.

Just like how a flowing river reaches its final destination in the sea so is Sivaangi flowing towards her destination to her Sea - Sam Vishal.
