Episode 29

Sam PoV:

I was busy talking about some random things with the gang, Suddenly my phone rang, it was an unknown number so I picked to know who it was, but I couldn't hear anything cause of the sounds around, so I went to the corner hopping that will help, and I again told hello, in response I heard a weeping and scared voice over the phone

Caller: Sam!!! Sob.. Sob.. Sam hiccups and Sob..

Sam: Hello Who is this? What's happening?
I asked anxiously.

Caller: Sam! I am Gaurav! Sam Arjun Arjun
A loud sound and the phone disconnected.

God! Don't Know what happened, I called the number back it says switched off, i called Gaurav sirs number, it rings full but no response, the tele caller spoke in Malayalam, so that means he is still in Kerala network.

I went to my friends, seems like Siv has noticed me, her face looked worried, so I told them
We'll have to leave immediately, and I walk to my car and they all followed me asking a hundred questions.

Sam: Guys! Let's go to my place! I'll tell you everything there!

I sat in the car and drove towards home, everyone looked at me anticipating what I am going to say, but I kept calling Gaurav Sir's number to no avail.

Sam: Manasa! Where did your father take Arjun? Do you have any contact details?

Manasa: Why? What happened Sam? Is everything okay?

Sam: I am not sure! Now tell me is there anyone that I can contact to know what's happening?

Manasa: Yes! My uncle is there with Dad! Wait let me call him.

Sam: Okay! Call and give it to me! I'll talk!

Manasa called her uncle and handed the phone to me, right time I stopped at the signal, I heard a voice so I spoke over the phone

Voice: Hello! Manasa Koche

Sam: Hello Sir! Can I talk to Gaurav Sir? He is okay?

Voice: Is this Sam? Mone! Thank you for calling, Arjun was unconscious when Gaurav bought him here, we admitted him into a Ayurveda shala, don't know when he came to consciousness, he broke everything here and behaved very violently with the Staffs, when Gaurav tried to stop him, he pushed him away and now Gaurav is admitted in the hospital in critical condition, he broke the phone when Gaurav tried talking to you, and he ran away pa, I don't know what to do.

Sam: You don't worry! How is Gaurav Sir now?

Voice: He is in ICU mone! He hit his head and is very serious, I don't know what to do, the Hospital has informed the police.

Sam: Okay Uncle you don't worry! I'll arrange for something! I'll call you back!

Pradeep: Dai! What's happening?

I told them everything that happened, Manasa started to cry and Pradeep tried to console her, we reached my place, I told everything that happened to my parents, Dad used some influence and contacted the hospital and Police to help in the situation.

Sam: Pappa! I think I should go there! I promised to help him!

Gautham: You think we'll leave you go alone?

Pradeep: Yeah! We'll also come! That's it! Your not going anywhere alone!

Sam: Okay if that's the Case, Pradeep and I will go! Gautham and David stay back here! We might not know, chennai is the place he will come, cause we are here!

Gautham: Sam! Just you both going won't help! We'll do one thing, we'll transfer Gaurav sir here, we can provide the best medical facility fir him, moreover like you told Arjun will come here only, so we'll have to secure his mom and Manasa somewhere very safe, let's stay here together and deal with this!

David: Sam! What Gautham says makes sense! Our strength is that we stick together, let's not let that break, let the police search there in kerala!

Dad: True that Sam! You'll do one thing all of you stay here until all this is sorted, we'll get Manasa's mother also here.

Sam: Okay Pappa! We'll do that then! Please talk to the police there and ask them to intensify the search.

Dad: You don't worry! I have spoken to them! And even my manager is coordinating with the hospital to shift your lecturer here!

Sam: Thanks Dad! And Manasa! Come with me, we'll go pick your mom, and get some of your essentials!

Manasa: Okay Sam! I'll call and ask mom to be ready.

Gautham: Okay I'll come along too!

Sam: Seri Da! Okay you guys go upstairs and rest we'll come back!

Siv: Guys please be very careful!

Sam: Sure Siv! Don't worry! And yeah yours and Sri clothes from the last you stayed over is in my closet, you guys use that for now, tomorrow we'll pick your stuffs.

Siv: Seri! You guys come back soon!

Sam: Pradeep! Take care of them, we'll come back soon!

Pradeep: Seri da! Careful! Wait one of you stay on conference with us!

Sam: Seri I'll call from Gautham's number!

Saying that the 3 of left in my car, Manasa guided us to her place, her mom stood there scared and shivering not knowing what going on, as soon as she got into the car, I drove back home.

Sam: Aunty! Did you get any call from Arjun?

Aunty: Yes Sam! I got a call just before Manasa called, it was an unknown number,he told he is coming home, and to avenge for Ajay's Life, I tried to explain things to him, but he got very angry and he disconnected the call.

Sam: okay Aunty! You don't worry! We are there! Nothing will happen to anyone!

Manasa: Yeah mom, Sam's father is getting dad to Chennai, we will all be at Sam's place until Arjun is found.

Aunty: I am very scared! He has gone to the extend of hurting his own father, I don't know what to do, Ayyo god please help and save my family from all this.

Sam: Aunty! We are there, Don't worry.

We reach back home, mom consoled and escorted Manasa and her mom into a guest room, Mani agreed to stay with us cause everyone from her family have gone to Pune for a temple visit, so for one week she was to be alone at her place, so made mom to talk to her parents and made her also to stay with us, it's like everyone are at home, in front of my eyes and safe, now my concern is Arjun!
Dad tightened the security around the house and my main concern is the safety of my loved ones, same time I want Arjun also safe! It's not his fault If the circumstances and fate decided to play in his life, within Two hours Gaurav sir was bought to Chennai by air and he was given the best medical aid, everyone were asleep, but I couldn't even close my eyes longer than to blink my eyes, even the slightest sound had my full attention, the boys were asleep in our customised bedroom, God please keep us safe! I told a silent prayer!

I checked my messages and there were few from Siv, she is asleep in my room with Sri and Mani, just the feeling of her being safe keeps me sane, I opened and read the message

Siv Messages
1. Sam! Don't be too stressed! Everything will be fine! Sleep! You need rest!
2. Good night Sam! Sleep well! The bed smells you!
A text message from her is so comforting I responded Back to the message.

Sam message:

You just don't fail to brighten my thoughts! Sleep well! My lips still miss your soft velvety lips❤️😘

I just closed my eyes and I fell asleep unknowingly.
