They were all in bed, he hoped so. He had wanted to do this since the day it happened, beady let him in through the door and said that they were all sleeping so they didn't have to worry about Lottie or her friends. He wanted Lottie to be here but knew she would probably freak out if he turned up in the middle of the night, someday soon would be a better time to do it, so she would be rational.
He got to work, checking everything that could be used as a weakness, checking that nothing could go wrong. Beady, although usually mean had a soft spot for HIM, she kept telling him that he needed to rest, that it was going to be fine, that she didn't need to know and that she would be okay, and that it could be better for her if she didn't know, more leverage against CL. Those initials were enough to invoke fear in the strongest man and beady knew that he was freaking out.
