Jaune and Pyrrah were walking through the fairgrounds when they ran into Ren and Nora, and as usual Nora was dragging Ren around by his arm.
Jaune(something tells me I better interfere before Nora dislocates Ten's arm)
With a nudge to her shoulder Pyrrah turned to face Jaune after a few hand signs quickly understood what he wanted to do so she followed his lead.
Jaune: Nora!
That managed to get Nora's attention as she turned to face her friends and teamates.
Nora: Oh hey fearless leader! Pyrrah I see you and him have been alone so any progress?
Pyrrah face turned as red as her hair as Nora began gigging all the while Jaune was just confused?
Ren(He really doesn't get it...)
Pyrrah wanted to change the subject so after a quick look around she spotted something or more specifically a group of someone's who would help change the subject.
Pyrrah: hey look it's team RWBY!
The rest of team JNPR turned to see it was indeed team RWBY who appeared to be at some kind of noodle stand.
Jaune couldn't remember the last time he had noodles and wanted to see is the noodles on Remnant or any good compared to the noodles of Earth.
Jaune: come on let's get something to eat as our match with team BRNZ will being a few hours and we need to have our energy.
Jaune could remember one time a stubborn Leo refusing to eat which made him all the much weaker during training.
With that Jaune, Pyrrah, Nora, and Ren made there way over to the middle stand just as Blake had her bowl of noodle and fish taking away from her.
Weiss: that is weird? I barely used any of my allowance this month?
Jaune(My guess her lack of money is a way her overly controlling and corrupt father's way of punishing her)
Jaune knew a lot about the head of the Schnee Dust company, Jauquess Schnee. A name who's business partners and business practices were so questionable it's surprising there hasn't been a criminal investigation launched against the company and more specifically him.
To Jaune, Jauquess was the embodiment of corporate greed who most likely married Weiss's mother so that he could one day take over the company
Jaune has also heard nasty rumors about Weiss's mother Willow, who hardly ever appears in public and is rumored to be an alcoholic. He wasn't surprised to see you at the least as after all if he was married to someone so greedy and selfish and clearly not in love with him he would probably turn to the bottle too.
Jaune wondered who in Weiss's life kept her from completely turning into a selfish brat like her father
Pyrrah: Well I hardly ever use my allowance so I have plenty of funds so how about I pay for lunch
Yang: oh you really don't have to
Blake: but she could!
Jaune (That girl really loves fish)
Ruby: so are you guys at all nervous about your match with team BRNZ?
Nora: are you kidding me?! We have Ren the master of stealth! The great and powerful Nora who can bench press a truck! The invincible girl Pyrrah! And the Kung fu prodigy as our leader Jaune Arc!
Yang: Yeah but I heard the team you're facing against are really well coordinated and they have a sniper on their team.
Jaune: That may proved to be a challenge but I have a feeling that if we work together as a team nothing will be able to stand against us as we work our way up to the top. Of course that means that we're probably going to meet each other in the finals and don't think we're going to go easy on you just because we're friends
Ruby: I know and if you guys do go easy on us I'll never forgive you
Yang: yeah!
Weiss: well the food is almost done so let's enjoy our noodles rest for a bit and you guys can head to the stadium for your match.
Soon the stand owner came out with their noodles and everyone began chowing down.
A while later after letting the food settle in their stomachs team JNPR made their way so the field where team BRNZ was already waiting for them
In the stands team RWBY was cheering them on as Cinder and her cronies were watching them from afar.
Mercury: so who do you think will win?
Emerald: oh come on you already know the answer it's pretty obvious at this point.
Cinder: We all know who's going to win but how exactly they're going to win is unknown and that's the fun part.
Meanwhile back on the field the announcers announce the start of the match as the fields of battle were randomly picked and brought up.
Jaune( Let's see how far we can go!)
