Renjun was wandering the corridors at lunchbreak. He didn't leave the main building at all, because he wasn't in the mood to hang out with anyone after his talk with Jaemin. The brunette felt his chest really tight and he felt like suffocating while he walked around the silent corridor. With his hand inside the pockets of the thin jacket, Renjun kept on thinking of what Jaemin said. Yes, he decided to break up with him that time, but it wasn't because he didn't love him, it was because of his filthy behavior. He still had feelings for the younger, he couldn't deny it, but he could never be with someone like Jaemin. The way that vampire craved to see humans in pain made him sad and sick in the same time.

"But I need blood though." He whispered to himself and stopped before the closed doors of the library. His eyes drifted away from the floor, onto the dark surface of wood that made one of the doors. With a trembling hand, the vampire pressed onto the golden doorknob that felt really cold beneath his skin, and opened the door. The soft scent of old books filled his nose while he stepped inside and when he spotted the librarian, he showed a small smile and bowed.

He had to find a Silver Demon fast, so he could regain his powers, since the effect he had from Jaemin was at its end. His weak powers of a half-breed were coming back and it made Renjun feel disgusted with himself. Why did he had to have human blood in him? Why did his mom have to be a mortal?

Walking through some rows of old books, Renjun kept on thinking what he should do. He was too scared to kill a human inside that school, because it hadn't been too long since Yeri's death and another death would be the end of this school. He could try run away for a few days and kill some random person in the city, but that would anger Miss Kim. She tried her best to keep the reputation of that school intact, so again, he couldn't possibly run away.

He didn't even realize he stopped at the back of the library, where the restricted books were. His eyes wandered the multiple shelves that were locked inside the box of glass. They had many books about vampires, some even about dark magic and werewolves. It always surprised him why no one seemed interested in those books, since they were restricted. A normal human should be curious as hell if they saw something like that.

"Hi." A voice suddenly ran in his ears, a bit too close, which made Renjun flinch. His eyes immediately widened when he recognized the scent and when he turned around, he was welcomed by Jeno's handsome face. A smirk was forming his lips while he slightly pushed him so he would see the restricted books better. "I never knew we had a restricted area."

"We're only allowed to use them in our afternoon classes." Renjun explained, despite feeling really small and weak next to him. "I-I heard you're also a Silver Demon." The brunette stuttered while he glanced from his side profile to the books. He didn't even know where to look. "How did you hide yourself so well?"

Jeno chuckled as he ran a hand through his hair. His dark eyes met Renjun's. "I didn't want to risk. There could have been undercover vampire hunters, so I said the pretending to be a human would be okay for a while, until I got used to the school."

"I see." Renjun didn't believe him at all. He knew the taller was hiding something just from the fact that Jaemin seemed scared for the first time. That vampire was never scared, so being that terrified by another Silver Demon made the brunette feel really suspicious. "Still, Jaemin seemed a bit scared by you today. He usually isn't that terrified by other vampires. What made you seem so feared?" The brunette decided to stop being a weak vampire in front of him. He showed a cold smile while he blinked with innocence.

"You should mind your own business because from what I've seen, you're not a close friend of his." Jeno looked away from him, his eyes landing back onto the books.

His blank response made Renjun feel a bit frustrated. What was he hiding? It was really obvious that he was hiding something. But what?

"You're hiding something." The brunette mumbled while he kept his eyes on Jeno.
