"Just try something and I'll kill both of you." Jungwoo warned the tow vampires when they reached the locked metal door. He glared at both of them vbefore he showed them his back as he approached the door. With a really rusty key, he unlocked it and pushed it wide open, revealing a really dark room. "I don't know why I can't come inside as well but..." 

"Someone has to stay outside." Donghyuck said. 

"I'm the one who should check up on that brat not you two." Jungwoo's eyes went golden as he hissed at the blonde haired vampire. When Donghyuck released a growl and smirked while he approached the other vampire, Jungwoo chuckled. "We're acting powerful now?" He spat the words and showed his claws. "You have five minutes, no more." The orange haired vampire told Renjun who nodded and without waiting for his friend, he stormed inside the room. 

He froze when he spotted Jaemin on the floor, tied with silver chains by a metal bar. His nape was filled with blood along with his wrist, which made the vampire wonder why couldn't he heal. With slow steps, he made his way towards the prince and when Donghyuck was also inside, he glanced at his friend. 

"Close the door." Renjun spoke coldly so he would give Jungwoo the impression he was there to make fun of him. After the blonde haired pulled the door and closed it, Renjun knelt in front of him and cupped his face with his hands. "Jaemin." The brunette spoke softly before he slapped him so he would wake up. It took him some moments to finally open his eyes and when he recognized the person in front of him, Jaemin widened his eyes. "What did they do to you?" 

"W-What are you doing here?" Jaemin stuttered and looked from Renjun to Donghyuck. "H-How did you...?" 

Renjun exchanged some glanced with the blonde haired. If he told the prince he was a spy then Jaemin would feel more than betrayed, but in a way, it would make sense after all he went through because of him. Still, Renjun couldn't do it. He couldn't tell him he was a spy. 

"Did they find out about you too?" Jaemin asked in a cracked voice. "Did you tell them?" He then glared at Donghyuck with venom and wanted to move but failed. His head rested on Renjun's shoulder. "They poisoned me so I wouldn't heal." A chuckled escaped his throat. "Will they kill us?" 

"N-No." As much as he wanted to sound okay, he couldn't. Until Jeno wasn't out of his room they weren't safe. "They locked Jeno in his room as well. We have to get him out in few hours." Renjun explained and with a hand, he started playing with Jaemin's hair so he would calm down a bit. "Donghyuck didn't tell anyone anything. I..." 

"It makes no sense for you to be here you know that right?" The blonde haired suddenly asked from behind. When Renjun sent him the glare, he just shrugged his shoulders. "Don't get me wrong, but why would an enemy be allowed here?" 

"Right..." Renjun mumbled and rested his face on Jaemin's head. He hugged the prince and sighed loudly. He didn't want to tell him, but Donghyuck was right, it made no sense for him to be there. 

"What's he saying?" Jaemin mumbled while he weakly wrapped his arm around the vampire's waist. "Why are you here then?" 

"I-" Renjun looked back at Donghyuck. His best friend was leaning by a wall with his arms crossed. He just shook his head and mouthed the words: It's your decision. "I-I lied to you these whole time." The brunette said while his eyes wandered to a blank wall. They stood glued on that wall the whole time he spoke. "I am not from your dynasty. I never was. I've been a Death Angel since I was fourteen. They turned me before I was sent in my mission to find you. " Renjun bit his lower lip as he took a deep breath. "That night I really was supposed to kill you, but I couldn't do it." 

There was a long pause. No one said anything. He didn't need to see Jaemin's face to know he was shocked. He even clenched his fist onto Renjun's shirt.
