loey heard the older male on the other end of the phone sigh. right after they both went offline he called her to talk. and what he wanted to talk about was the same thing that had just happened. he specifically told her to stop flirting around with juyeon so much because one of these days he's going to get very bold, and the other people who secretly have a thing for her are going to get hurt.
"besides i doubt any of them truly have feelings for me; even juyeon to be honest. i think he thinks i'm attractive, but i don't think he actually has feelings for me. we've only known each other for a little over a month."
sangyeon pursed his lips. "but not everyone is the same. some people fall for others quickly."
loey's eyes softened. "seriously i had no intention of causing drama. i had no idea juyeon was going to say that, or sunwoo and chanhee. about chanhee too..."
"it hurt didn't it?"
she nodded.
"well if it makes you feel any better...chanhee doesn't hate you as much as he makes it seem."
"how do you know that?"
"sometimes we text each other."
loey's eyes widened. they text each other? what do they even say? is it how sangyeon also talks to her in private everyday? who else out of group does he talk to separately? those were the questions running through her mind.
"does he talk shit about me?"
"not really. he barely does."
"but that means he still does. is he like homophobic or something cause what did i ever to do him?"
sangyeon bursted out laughing from her statement. his eyes turned into tiny crescents as his perfect smile showed. "you make me laugh, and no he's not homophobic. he's just... worried."
"worried? about what?"
"it's not my place to share his personal business."
she pouted. "then how am i supposed to fix anything?"
"you can't. that's unless you stop flirting with juyeon."
loey rolled her eyes. "i don't even flirt with him. besides what does that really have to do with anything."
he then in return rolled his eyes too. "just because they don't confess their undying love for you like juyeon does, does not mean that other people in the group chat don't have interest in you like juyeon does too."
what? who the hell else has interest in me?!
"do i have to go back saying i'm gay everyday or something? because i think we're all forgetting here that i only like girls."
sangyeon laughed again. "maybe they don't take the hint."
"give me a moment."
loey went onto the lights out app and went to her profile. she clicked on 'edit profile' and on username.

"oh wow. how manly." she joked.
there was a pause of silence and she heard him yawn on the other end. it was now 4 am; talk about a nice sleep schedule.
"hey ass, you should probably go to sleep. i didn't say it earlier, but you look like you're really tired."
"sleep sounds nice, but i can't. i have to finish an assignment due at 8 am."
"sleep is more important than stupid school."
"i wish it was," he yawned again. "are you about to sleep right now?"
"well i was going to, but lately i can't sleep at night so i just sleep during the day. do you want me to stay on the phone with you?"
silence.
but then she heard his quiet soft voice.
"yes, please?"
a smile made its way to her face. "okay i will, but only to make sure you finish your assignment. after that we're both heading to bed okay?"
with droopy eyes and fluffy brown hair, he nodded as he gave her a smile.
sangyeon, i think you're really cool.
and maybe you do have a point: i need to stop being so close to juyeon, for the sake of the group chat.
