as I do with all of my books that take place in older time periods, I tried to make as much of this playlist have songs from that time. obviously, with it being the 30s and 40s it was kind of hard to find music with words that was relevant, so I stepped outside for a few songs that I listened to in my personal playlist that I felt related to Lydia's journey in this book!

also I didn't include it, but do listen to alterlife by rina sawayama. her music in general is just good, but the song definitely gave me inspiration.
