"Minju.. can I tell you a secret" Minju stayed quiet letting Chaewon continue

"I like you"

Minju froze in her spot not knowing what to say. Their feelings were mutual but for some reason she could utter a word

"You don't have to say anything, I just wanted to tell you before it was too late" Her arms loosened around Minju letting her go

The younger girl on the other hand, smiled when her eyes met. Chaewon smiled back as she saw how happy the girl looked

"I like you too"

"Yah! Choi Yena! Come back here!" The six older girls decided to go on a picnic at the park while the 01 liners were studying for an upcoming exam and the two makenaes were out with other friends

Hyewon and Yena continued to run around like a bunch of kids chasing each other. The duck like girl had stolen a piece of chicken from Hyewon's paper plate and she's regretting it.

The two eldest girls went back to the car to grab some bottles of water while the two Chaes talked about randoms things, catching up since they haven't talked in awhile

"So anything interesting happening lately?" Chaeyeon asked focusing on the food she was holding in her plate

"Hm.. no not really" The younger replied wiping her lips with a napkin

"You sure? So you and Minju aren't doing anything when you guys hang out?" The dancing machine girl fired back with eyebrows slightly raised staring at the girl in front of her curiously

"Geez.. Am I not allowed to be friends with girls?" Chaewon acted as if she and Minju weren't just cuddling in bed this morning, like she and Minju we just best friends

"M'kay sure, I believe you.." The older Chae's sarcastic response earned an eye roll from Chaewon

99z girls came back gasping for air after chasing each other like the kids they are "You owe me chicken" Hyewon's death glare got shivers running down Yena's spine

As if on cue, the eldest girls also came back with a pack of bottled water (idk if they have this in other countries but we have it here in Aus)

Music blasting through her airpods as she wrote down notes for her upcoming math exam. Minju and the rest of 01 liners were at the library studying to make sure they don't fail the exam.

"I'm gonna leave early, I have to help my parents at the bakery so I'll see you guys tomorrow" Hitomi stood up packing her things, they all raised their head looking at the girl then nodded their heads to assure her

She waved goodbye and left, soon after Yuri also decided to leave "I just want to sleep, this is too much stress for me but I'm done with my notes so you guys can look over it"

The hamster girl handed over her papers to Nako and Minju as she packed her things

"Thanks, I'll give it back tomorrow" Nako replied while Minju also read her notes

A few minutes passed and the two remaining girls decided to call it a day and go for ice cream to calm down their stress.

"So can I ask? What's with you and Chaewon unnie?" Nako asked licking her mint chocolate chip ice cream as they walked towards the bus stop

"What makes you think that there's something happening between us?" Minju's smart to answer the question with another question

"Well let's see, the holding hands, cuddling, hanging out, face-timing and not to mention that photo of her on the back of your phone case" But unfortunately for her, Nako was smarter

"Stop keeping it a secret, it's painful to see how hard you guys try to keep it a secret when literally the whole group knows" Nako walked ahead then turned back around to face the taller girl

Is it really that obvious? Minju asked herself

But she was persistent on not telling the smaller girl everything "Well it's gonna continue being a secret so there's nothing you can do about it"

The day went on with the rest of the group still questioning the two kims when they already knew the answer but just needed conformation.

"Unnie~ I'm bored.." Once again Minju and Chaewon were on call as they just couldn't get enough of each other

"I'm on my way" Chaewon hung up the call and proceeded to get her hoodie and drive instead of walk to Minju's house

The two have created this system where if one was bored, the other girl would go to her house. It was a way for them to spend time without actually asking if they can come over.
