April fools

"Can you just confirm it already, it's mentally hurting everyone in the group whenever you and Chaewon eonni hang out, it's not that we're jealous, we're just nosy" Nako looked at the girl in beside her waiting for an explanation but Minju being Minju, of course she's not gonna give in

"Let's talk about something else yeah!?" Again avoiding her questions

The two were taking the bus to school as always and Nako interrogating Minju with questions

"We only hang out a lot because we're bored, is that wrong?" The taller girl asked while she makes up more excuses in her head

"Bitch! I live four houses away from you and Chaewon eonni lives two suburbs away, am I that boring?" Nako's tiny yes.. but don't make her mad

"Sorry.. I just get along better with her" Again with the excuses

"Okay so for the 9 years that we've known each other, you don't think we get along?" The annoyed tone in Nako's voice made Minju frightened, she shouldn't have messed with her

The bus stopped at their school and they got off. They walked across the street towards the school gate and they were greeted with some friends.

"Tomi! Yuri!" Nako waved getting their attention

And from the corner of Minju's eyes, she saw the girl they were talking about on the bus heading their way. Chaewon had a smile plastered on her face when she saw that the younger looked at her. Yena —who was beside Chaewon— had an idea that popped in her head

"Hey, you know it's april fools day right?" Yena whispered but loud enough for Chaewon to hear from their distance

"Yeah.." The younger was curious but knew that whatever Yena was planning wasn't going to be good

"I dare you to pretend that you and Minju are just best friends" A smirk grew on Yena's face as she turned her head to Chaewon

"But we are just best friends"

"Lol, we all know that's a lie Chaewon, just do it for fun it's april fools for fuck's sake" Chaewon gave up knowing she couldn't win against the older

She sighed "Fine.."

As their little chat ended, they've already walked up to the 01 liners

"Oh hey Yena eonni!" Yuri jumped with excitement

This caused Chaewon to roll her eyes "Hey I'm here too"

Yuri ignored it walking off with the duck like girl leaving Chaewon and the rest dumbfounded.

"Where's the rest of the eonnis?" Hitomi asked while the remaining girls turned away from the hamster and duck that just walked away

"Chaeyeon is at dance practice, Eunbi and Hyewon are doing student councillor things and Sakura... I don't know about her" Chaewon answered

Minjoo on the other hand, couldn't hear anything they were saying as she was too focused on staring at Chaewon's beauty.

The bell went and they walked to their classes. Minju and Chaewon's classes were close so they walked together. The older girl struggled to hold herself back as she so badly wanted to engulf the younger into a tight hug and covered her with kisses

Minju was expecting the older to shower her with love as she usually does but to her surprise, she didn't. The younger girl felt the awkwardness as they walked side by side, Chaewon on the other hand was imagining herself giving Minjoo love and affection as she couldn't do it in real life.

They separated ways when they got to class. Throughout the whole day, Chaewon avoided Minju as an 'april fools joke'.

"Yah! Chaewon, I said to pretend you guys are best friend, not completely avoid her" Yena explained as they walked from the bus station to their respective houses

Yena noticed how Chaewon was avoiding the frog like girl and started to feel guilt running through her body

"If I didn't avoid her, then I would've lost it the second we were going to class together, I was mentally restraining myself you know" Chaewon fired back

"Aww little wonnie is in love" The older girl started making baby faces and patted Chaewon's head

"Fuck off!" She shooed Yena's hand away annoyed by her actions while Yena just laughed

Chaewon sighed as she fell on her bed laying on her back. She got up and got dressed thinking about what she should say to Minju. The ssamu girl wanted to surprise her at her house so she can apologise.

She drove off in her skateboard, originally wanting to take her mum's car so that she'd get there quicker but decided not to. Soon enough she got there and hesitantly rang the doorbell.

Some time went by and finally the door opened revealing Minju's dad.

"Oh Chaewon, Minju didn't tell us you were coming" Shocked in his tone but let her in

"Well I didn't exactly tell her either.." She replied shyly

"That's fine, Minju's asleep but you can go in, here how 'bout I take your board I'll put it in the garage" He offered

Chaewon took off her shoes after handing over her board "thank you uncle" she bowed

"No problem" and he walked off letting Chaewon go to Minju's room

Quietly opening the door then closing it not wanting to wake the girl up. Minju's back was facing her so she slowly hugged her from behind, soon going into dreamland.

Minju woke up feeling something heavy around her, then realising it was someone's arms. She slightly turned seeing who it was and saw a sleeping fairy. Chaewon also woke up soon after then locked eyes with the girl she was cuddling.

"Baby~ I'm sorry for avoiding you, it was meant to be an april fools joke.." She pulled her closer tightening her arms

"It's ok-ay" Minju paused in between her words as Chaewon started to cover her face with pecks

"Aishh~ stop I get it" She tried to stop her but eventually gave in

I was meant to post this yesterday but I ended up changing the whole plot so I rewrote it, also this chapter isn't really important for the whole story but it's an event to yeh. Also we have 27 days til Iz*one d-words... help...
