athena slowly raised her head from the bench, phoenix walked right up to the defene's bench, he took out his notebook and pen from his briefcase, then eased up when he saw how shaken up athena looked

'sorry it took me so long to get here wisdom, conqueror explained the whole thing to me over the phone, He asked me to come help you out in his place'

she grimaced weakily

'..Thanks for coming. I hate to admit it, but I was having a real rough time on my own'

he saw troubled she looked and offered her honest words

'you were doing fine, now let's gets this shit-show started'

he said, cracking his fingers, she smiled and nodded

the judge chuckled down at him, taken aback a little

phoenix nodded at him as he rolled his his sleeves, showing off his flowery tattoo's, and fixed up his fingerless gloves

'yup, Your Honor! Payne has called for an early ruling, which is fucking stupid because of how many things need to be deliberated, How did Woods's fingerprints wind up on the stuffed animal tail? How was the bomb even detonated? Until those questions are answered, were not calling a fucking ruling and i don't give a shit if anybody in this court has a fucking problem with that!!'

the judge almost forgot how violent his language was sometimes, but either way, agreed with him

'Hmm... You are absolutely right. Let us continue from where we left off. I assume you have no objections, Mr. Payne?'

'Heh heh. None at all, Your Honor.'

phoenix rolled his eyes at payne, then glanced over at woods and took noticed of her fragile state, she clearly wasn't doing okay at all and needed to get out of here

'Junie's really struggling, Mr. Wright. I get the sense she's afraid of the courtroom itself.'

athena muttered, clearly worried for her friend, phoenix gently patted her on the head

he then looked up at the judge

'your honour, I'd like to have Ms. Woods rest in the lobby, she's clearly traumatized'

the judge glanced at woods and went into deep thought

'Hmm... Given the defendant's condition... Very well, I grant special permission.'

athena smiled at her friend, giving her a thumbs up

'You go get some rest, Junie, and leave the rest to us!'

she nodded as she timidly answered back

she coughed into her hand as she walked out of the courthouse, payne flipped his hair as he grinned smugly at the defense

he answered back coldly, athena held back a snicker, about time that jackass got a taste of his own medican

the judge nodded

'Very well. Please call your witness, Mr. Payne!'
