Ch 4: Origins + Crushes

March 2nd 2010:

A blonde woman that goes by the name of Lindsay was carrying a baby wrapped up in blankets to the beach of Foggy Bottom which is in front of Mayor Humdinger's lair. Mayor Humdinger was sitting on the beach with a box in front of him and he put a piece of paper in the box. Lindsay walked over with the baby in her arms who looked only a day old "Are you sure you want to do this?" Mayor Humdinger asked Lindsay and she nodded. "We can't let Ryu know that Jake exists and that he's our child. If Ryu knew that I cheated then he'll take away the kids and I don't want that since I need a child of mine to follow my footsteps. Plus, we're not ready for our child yet since our relationship is a secret." Lindsay explained to Mayor Humdinger and Mayor Humdinger agreed with her. Lindsay then put baby Jake in the box which is also known as the cot. Mayor Humdinger took the paper out of the box and he showed it to Lindsay who then wrote where Jake's name supposed to go at since she named him while Mayor Humdinger chosen Jake's middle nane which is Polin (Pah-lin). Which means the note now says
"To whoever finds this baby,
     
      Please take care of him. We as his parents can't do so and it's best decided to set him off into the world looking for a new family that's ready for a child. His birthday is on March 1st and he was born at 12am. His name is Jake and take good care of him, if he misbehaves at all then punish him in anyway possible even if it means to hurt him physically and mentally. Thank you if you decided to keep him!

When Lindsay was done, she showed it to Mayor Humdinger and then she put it in the box. He also put something in the box which was a half a broken heart shaped necklace that's missing the other half. When they were done, they put the baby in the water and watched it drifted out to sea to never be seen or heard from again.

As the baby drifted out to sea and once it was away from those who would find him, he woke up and he started to cry which attracted animals to him so the animals of the sea helped the baby go quickly to shore and it took awhile but at 5:00pm, he ended up on the shore of Neverland and he continued to cry. Just then a battle between two males came into the picture of the Beach of Neverland and they kept on going and going but the man in a red pirate coat and a hook for a hand got annoyed of the baby crying so he ran to it and he was about to stab it but then the boy that was battling the pirate captain stopped him by whistling for the Tick Tock Croc's help and the croc chased him away. The boy then ran to the box and he saw the crying baby in it with the note and the necklace, he left the necklace alone and he took the piece of paper out and read it. The boy was shocked after he read the piece of paper but the baby kept on crying and crying so the boy picked up the baby and he gently rocked the baby back and fourth which calmed it down. Just then a fairy with Blonde hair, brown eyes, a green leafy dress, green shoes with white poms on it, and has a yellow/goldenish aurora around it. The boy however has green clothing, light brownish boots, a green hat with a feather on it, and redish brownish hair plus brown eyes. The boy's name was Peter Pan and the fairy's name is Tinker Bell, Tinker Bell was surprised to see a baby in Peter's arms and it was really young as if it was only a day old. Peter told Tinker Bell what happened and she was shocked but she also felt bad for the baby since it was legit a day old. "What do we do Tinker Bell? We need to find who can help us care for this baby because I need the knowledge that I know to help take care of him." Peter told Tinker Bell and she gave him a look that says 'he has a name you know' and Peter did a 'I messed up' look and then he told her "Sorry! Ok, we should find help so we can know how to take care of Jake." Tinker Bell nodded and they started to fly around Neverland. They asked everyone who they know that are on their side. They eventually do and Peter knew that one day, Jake will be a pirate captain of his own Pirate crew.

Present Day:

It was the next day and Jake and Cubby were feeling better. Izzy, Peter, Skully, Bucky, Cubby, and Jake plus the paw patrol were looking around for a pirate pup named Patch since they all can tell that Patch hasn't been seen for a couple of days by anyone when they used to be in Neverland so since they're now on one land, maybe Patch would show up. That's when Ryder remembered something and he asked Jake what does Patch looked like. Jake told him what Patch looked like and Ryder then did a mental facepalmed. "I remember Danny finding a pup like that and I've been helping him take care of it until we find it's owne-" Ryder explained but that's when Danny showed up with Patch and Patch immediately tackled Jake and started to lick his face which started to make Jake laugh. Danny then scared Ryder from behind which made Ryder jump a bit. Everyone laughed and Jake got up with Patch in his arms and he thanked Danny for taking care of Patch. "You're welcome! Just like Ryder here says, whenever you're in trouble just yelp for help!" Danny replied which made Ryder blush. That's when Danny noticed something between Jake and Ryder so Danny asked "Ryder, is this boy right here your look a like?" Ryder shook his head no and Jake introduced himself along with his crew and Peter. Jake then put Patch down so he can play with the pups and Bucky, the humans then talked for a bit. That's when the humans decided to play with the pups, but it turned into a big hide and seek where Peter was supervising it. Jake decided to hide in a tree and he sat on a branch that has a good view of the bay. Ryder subconsciously sat on the same branch and the two didn't noticed that they were sitting on the same branch until they had a gut feeling that they were sharing a branch with someone. The two had an awkward silent moment but then Ryder asked Jake "Why did you chose this spot that over looks the bay?" "Well, it reminds me of someone that lives in the ocean." Jake admitted and Ryder was confused so he asked "Who's this special person?" "His name is Finn. Finn the mer-boy." Jake replied which made Ryder even more confused. "Mer-people don't exist here in Adventure Bay but Pup-lantis exist and Mer-pups live there. I think tonight's a mer-moon so we can stay up to see if you can meet any mer-pups." Ryder explained and Jake asked "Is a mer-pup part Pup part fish like a body of a pup but the bottom part is a fish's end?" Ryder nodded. "Ok, just wondering since I met mer-maids and a mer-boy before." Jake answered and Ryder giggled. "Also if you're wondering there is a difference between a full moon and a mer-moon." Ryder admitted before Jake could ask. As the two were watching the bay, they heard Chase who was seeking underneath them so they stayed quiet even tho they weren't talking when Chase came over anyways. The two looked down and they saw Chase looking around the tree to find them but he couldn't so he then ran off to find someone else. The two boys started to snickered because of how funny that was and they couldn't believed that their hiding spot worked.

When Chase found everyone except for Jake and Ryder. Everyone was legit looking for the two but they couldn't find them anywhere. The two boys were just sitting on the tree branch watching everyone look for them and they tried not to laugh each time someone runs by them. Everyone met up underneath the branch to discuss on where the two should be and as they were discussing, Ryder took off his shoe and it landed in the middle of the group. The two boys started to laugh as soon as everyone looked up at the two in the branch. "HOW DID YOU GET UP THERE?!" Everyone exclaimed as the two boys got down. "I used my sword to help me climb the tree!" Jake admitted and Ryder then told the group "I just climbed it like I was climbing up a tall rock." Everyone then started to laugh and Ryder couldn't help but blush at Danny's laugh since he thought it was a bit cute.

After Danny went home at around 5pm the pups, Bucky, Patch, Skully, and the humans had some dinner and it was amazing but at around nighttime, the paw patrol brought their new friends to the shore of the bay that's close by to Adventure Bay and the lookout aka where the docks were at and they all waited to see a mer-pup. They didn't expect to see a few mer-pups doing dolphin dives tho. Ryder was recording the moment and as they saw the mer-pups jumping since they absolutely love being recorded, a figure of a mer-maid jumped and instantly Izzy, Cubby, Jake, & Skully recognized that figure but since it was getting late they didn't want to yell to wake a lot of people up. The Paw Patrol were shocked to see a mer-maid out there and they made sure it was real because it jumped about two more times. Once they got back to the lookout after a long day, they all settled in for a good night's rest but Ryder slept on the floor of his room while Izzy, Cubby, & Peter had the guest rooms. Skully was sharing a room with Cubby but since there was no room for Jake to have his own, Ryder volunteered to share his room with Jake. Anyways as everyone was mostly asleep, Jake couldn't help but think about Finn in his dream while Ryder thought about Danny.

Who's the mer-maid since Jake and his pirate crew recognized her? We're just going to have to find out later in the book.
