Ok so i simply loathe Lionblaze and his ego, the worst littermate of Squilf/Leaf's three kits. I wanted to claw his ears off when he faced imposter Bramblestar and incredulously huffed "next time I'll check who my parents are before I'm born". Like although Jayfeather was condemned and forced to expiate as well, Lionblaze must've inwardly acknowledged that his apprentice-hood rendezvouses with Heathertail were taken into account.
But that up there just addresses my resentment for Lionblaze. Here I'm going to ramble about why I abhor the ship and, specifically, Cinderheart. Get your muzzles ready to ward off flying spittle!!
To begin with, Cinderheart is so -like- melodramatic!!!! xD (Not to the extent of Wind Runner/WindStar's scenario tho xD.) **little pause here but** How dare Wind Runner blame Gray Wing/Tall Shadow's group for the death of two of her kits!! Emberkit perished because he was too young and feeble. That event occurred solely because he was kitted early, not because of the group! We all remember how agonizing Wind Runner's kitting had been as the ceaseless yowling that emanated from her was depicted a guttural sound that reverberated across the clearing. If anything Turtle Tail and Cloud Spots had assisted her throughout her delirium, imagine how Windy would've coped and survived without them!
Then we reach the prospect of Morning Whisker. I guess Windstar had a justifiable reason to regard a cluster of cats with contempt since the affliction was contagious. HoweveR, did the phenomenon of Morning Whisker being the first cat to fall ill not hit home at all?? Clearly the kit could've gotten it from contaminated prey instead of another cat. (Ps. when I'd read the summary for 'The Blazing Star', I'd expected some serious pestilence (like the greencough that waged through Thunderclan beginning with Briar(kit) and Millie). However, only Petal (and Birch & Alder) and Morning Whisker and Holly actually suffered; as well as all the no-longer abundant prey and sLaTe)
Ok now back on topic. To begin with [Cinderheart] broke up with Lionblaze all whiny-like because "he had a path/destiny that was way out of her league". (like TF~). Then she absolutely lost it when she found out she used to be Cinderpelt. Except the whole being deemed ecentric alongside Hollyleaf had seemed like a cry for attention and sticking out. (I believed that Hollyleaf had every right to feel like an outcast while Cinderheart.. rarely did..)
She experienced this whole dilemma about whether pursue the path of a warrior or a medicine cat when sHe wAs rEiNcARnATeD fOr oNe oBviOuS rEaSoN, what a mousebrain! (Like why else would Cinderpelt have been reincarnated!?!? Any sensible cat would've been able to decipher meaning...) .
What irked me the most was the fact that all she needed to resolve her rift was one deep talk from Lionblaze. In a few sincere phrases, the golden egotistical tom was able to goad the she-cat into affirming something along the lines of: "I choose the path of a warrior and I choose you!'.. (In other words, I was dubious because it was proven that all that fuss was spent for such an easily repairable issue!! EW).
What sucked more was that the egocentric Lionblaze actually forgave her- eW.. And those explicit scenes of Cinderheart fretting over Lionblaze's injuries?? eW (To be fair though I'm very biased and while I relish explicit intimate scenes from ships I adore, I freaking despise them when they're derived from ships I deride).
Whelp at least at the end of the day the two fleabags are suited for one another (just like what was demonstrated in the Skystar x Starflower and Tigerheart x Dovewing ship etc.) I CAN'T THINK OF ANY MORE AT THE TOP OF MEH HEAD) ship).
Lionblaze was fortunately a reincarnation like his wifey as well!! On the otherhand, in the Larksong x Sparkpelt ship, Larksong was WAYYYYYY out of Sparkpelt's league. (I have an aversion for that she-cat not because her prosperous training was tOo gOoD tO bE TrUe but because she quacking belittled Twigbranch)...
Normally, such quarreling and disagreement only spices up relationships (platonic or yknow wAt) in my eyes (like Fireheart and Graystripe's bellowing conflict over Silverstream and Squirrelflight and Brambleclaw's bickering (i'll post a rant on that ship later because I actually want to defend Bramble contrary to popular thought (yep I'm weird F))). However I saw the Lion x Cinder squabble as nothing but a ludicrous and ludicrous portrayal.
A/N: yep, this was copy-n-pasted from my bio (as most of my rants will be) (be prepared for more (most about ships xD))...
