Ok... This will be a quick swab of a rant [the vocabulary and sentence structuring will enable that] I'm all caught up to tRuE bEaUTy (the wEbToON) now [BTW] so this rant can't be more accurate (jk)! In one sentence <NO THESIS STATEMENT VIBES> my opinions & standings have cHaNGeD

Ok first off I take back my whole "I believe Seojun should've ended up with Ju in the dRaMa to appease FANS [just] so BOTH can be included" stance from my previous one (not that anyone's going to read either; I just want to post-).

To begin with, the drama was the finalized one (and not the ongoing/continuing) webtoon, so I should've rooted for Seojun x Jugyeong for the WEBTOON instead since that's where the hypothetical FF twisting could've taken place. (Just for the fans though; as I said I prefer neither and hope Jugyeong will end up single at least somewhere [I know that wont happen though because the three are unrealistically attached and binded at the hip and it's obviously the entire genre/author's pURpOsE']). I mean I know saddos like that exist out there but wHy iN a sToRy tHaT sHoULdN'T bE Like tHaT

After all, Seojun's confession in the drama was far too cringeworthy (not that it was any better in the webtoon, just slightly). Seojun's character/personality might've been much better in the drama than the webtoon (stronger and gentle genuine IDK) but that confession's wording was just a gamechanger/dealbreaker (WUTEV U CALL IT). Both confessions were a bit desperate but seRioUsLy the drama just made it woeful ("iM beGGinG u" "sEe mE aS a mAn aS i sEe u aS a wOmAn" "gO oUT oN 3 daTeS wiTh mE"). It was far more explicit; the drama took the webtoon's few stabs to another level with vividness. (I haven't watched the entire drama [yes I'm aware of premature early-staged assumptions] but I've viewed enough snippets (where Juyoung tells Seojun to get over it and move on-).

Additionally, Ju dated Suho before the gap and then returned to make magic again afterwards (post schism) in the drama. Instead of (Suho -->> Seojun) (as wished) happening in the drama like I SURMISED it being Seojun ->> Suho in the webtoon, I could've opted for the wEbToON to follow a Seojun ->> Suho ->> Seojun progression as it was CONFIRMED AND DEFINITED (that's not even a word XP) that the drama transitioned like [Suho ->> (well rather hiatus than sEoJuN) ->> Suho] pathway.

Also, like everyone else is claiming, I believe the webtoon's plot is all dRaGGeD oUT. I still do enjoy the drama of the various heartracing events that occur (like eUnHye and the recent sUJiN ordeal) (OK THEY'RE NOTHING COMPARED TO LOOKISM'S STORYLINE BUT IDK WHY I'M MAKING THE COMPARISON WHEN THAT'S NOT RIGHT). The art is still mesmerizing and enchanting [and IG the author's profiting is fine] although the setting is getting *rHyMe* a bit dull. There's also my whole attachment to oNe oF mY fiRsT eVeR rEaD weBToOnS and the viewings of my cHaT & iNFo exchange buddies.

But I do find Jugyeong unchanging (sTaGnAnT LiKe tHe wATeRs) and almost pathetic. Imagine being sOoOooOoOoOoOo tethered to and burdened/affected by the same 2 boys for, what?, over 3 years? I also find Suho's life pitiful. Like imagine even going out of your way to get over a stupid girl you for no reason felt this irreversible nuclear explosion go off for and still manage to be brought to your knees and guts. Suho was blessed with natural talents (for academics [useful] and appearance [hardly necessary although our woRLd iS LiKe tHiS foR ceRTaiN fieLdS]) but only exhibited the well-rounded everything and planned no specific outlook (other than obtaining Jugyeong, obviously).

Even Jugyeong at least dearly enjoyed makeup (with loads of practice) <characters just keep coming and going with no smooth/believable exit though> and Seojun + Seyeon reveled in singing. (Well way to shift my perception on Suho's assets)... (No hate for Suho in that area as many struggle though (premature midlife crisis 101 SOS) and this ceaseless lovetriangle holds all 3 culprits accountable).

Actually, while I never preferred tEaM sEoJuN (for Jugyeong), I'm actually beginning to abhor the Suho side. While I adored their highschool young lovey dovey need to always attend events and create memories together, I dead knew it painstakingly ended once Suho left. I strongly believe that departure was the end of their relationship. The fact that their love hadn't exactly terminated repels mEh and mAh worthless opinion. Them both desperately striving to retrieve and rebuild the shredded ends of their relationship (cLiNGinG oN) even aFTeRwARd just mindblows mEh. (I forgot my planned woRdinG uGh). I really think it wont work. (Single Ju or even Seojun Ju it is!) sadly...

Although I'm not eligible for opening my mouth because I ditch as well (at least all my relationships are platonic; not that I value romance in the same way the main 3 do), Suho ghosting Ju was plain irresponsible and immature and should be frowned on. Suho must've been quite full of himself while snagging around.

And to think of it this way, the kind "personality" Suho really fell for was Jugyeong's diSguSTinGLy tedious unchanging persona (enough to entitle him to recognize them across bodies worlds apart). And Suho really is similar in the sense of personality (to Jugyeong) (whatever happened to the whole oPpOsiTeS aTTRaCT).

They both (especially Suho the instigator) really wanted someone that would be bound to them and their lost souls eternally, didn't they? (Make way for the almost unintelligible theories of malice).

I'm really contemptuous (evidently) towards the two main characters even though I've no such feeling towards the webtoon story itself...

But while I find the drama's plot (and every ship other than Seojun x Ju [**actually wait Suho was made into an overpossesive yandere for a bit in the drama,,; so "every ship other than Jugyeong's hetero ships]) formulated much better than the webtoon, I've got to give the author the credit of the creative initial story beginning (setting, etc.) (as well as the backgrounds of the main 3 that the drama amplified and sEyEoN) although the drama dwarfs them in comparison. Otherwise those are character flaws I gawk at; no riGhT oF mE tO deCLaRe aS i cOuLd neVeR dO beTTeR mAhseLf.....
