Brooke POV

"Do i have too?" I asked my dad walking into the house

"Yes I need you to take pictures for me and your mom" dad said

"Ok lets go" I said it was seven o'clock we drove to pops and I got into a tall tree and started taking pictures of the diner

"Ill send you pictures later after I edit them" I said getting down from the tree and looking at the photos

"Thank you Brooke are you still drawing?" he asked

"Yes dad I'm working on one" I said getting into the car

"Ok lets go home your moms probably mad we missed dinner" dad said starting the car

When we got home we walked into the house and saw mom sitting on the couch with a raised eyebrow

"Where have you two been?" she asked standing up and walking closer to us

"We went to take pictures of pops diner for your newspaper" I said looking at my camera that was in my hand

"Hey sweetie will you go to the store down the street and get some milk here's the money" mom said handing me the money

"If I can go to the pet store and get a dog" I said smirking

"No" they said at the same time

"What I have perfect grades I have never missed school i do everything I need to please" I asked giving them puppy dog eyes mom looked away

"F-fine" mom stuttered I hugged her

"Thank you thank you" I said running out the door I had my wallet and the money mom gave me I was looking at my phone and bumped into someone

"I am so sorry" the man said putting his hand out for me to grab

"Its ok I wasn't l looking where I was going" I said I looked up and saw it was Fp

"Hello again" he said smirking i grabbed his hand he helped me up

"Hi now I must go get a dog and milk" I said walking around him

"A dog? And milk? Its nine-thirty at night" he said grabbing my arm again I nodded my head

"Let me give you a ride" he said

"Sure why not" I said we walked over to his bike he got on I looked at the bike having second thoughts

"What scared of a bike?" he asked.

"What no never I just don't like bikes" I said looking down at my feet

"Come on ill drive slow" he said I got on the bike and her drove.me to the store after I got the milk and stuff for my new dog I walked out and saw him sitting on his bike looking at his phone

"You stayed?" I asked walking closer to him

"Yeah I thought you would need a ride to the shelter" he said I smiled and nodded my head

Brooke pov

I walked into the shelter and saw a lady sitting at the front desk

"Hi how may I help you?" she asked

" I would like to adopt a dog" I said she smiled

"Follow me" she said we walked into a room full of dogs I was looking at all the dogs when a saw a blue gray puppy sitting in a back Corner I walked over to it he looked scared but walked over to me I pet him

"I want this one" I said she got him ready I signed all the papers I needed to and named his Grayson we walked out side he was on a leash he was happy sniffing everything in his path

"Come on boy" I said and started walking home

"You need a ride home ill drop you off a block down from your house" Fp said I smiled and grabbed Grayson and got on his bike when I got home I walked into the house Grayson behind me everyone was a sleep I put the milk in the fridge and got some food and water for Grayson we walked up yo my room I put his bed on the floor same with the food and his toys bit he jumped onto bed with me I smiled

"Good night" I whispered falling asleep with Grayson laying his head on my leg
