Y/n was standing on platform 9 3/4 along with her brother, James, staring at the hogwarts express in shock. She had never seen it sconce she was at school (muggle school) when James came for the first time, she was pulled out of her thoughts by her brothers ear piercing screams
"SIRIUSSS!"
She watched as her brother and a boy she knew to be Sirius tackled each other to the floor, she watched as they just layed on the floor filled with joy from seeing each other again
"You must be y/n, I'm Sirius"
Her and Sirius got to know eachother until she heard her two best friends running over too her
"MADDIE,SOFIA!"
They were about to have a whole catchup about their summer until they heard the whistle of the train, children were having lots of last minute hugs with their parents until boarding the train. The group took this as their sign to also step into the train, the boys left them heading into a compartment with two others. The three girls looked through the train until finding a compartment with three girls inside, they decided to knock on the door asking to join
"Excuse me" asked Maddie getting the girls attention "Do you mind if we join you, everywhere else is full" When they stepped into the compartment the girls started to introduce themselves
"I'm lily Evans, this is Mary macdonald,Marlene McKinnon and dorcas meadows" Of course she already knew about lily "Nice to meet you I'm y/n potter,this is Sofia West and maddie Readon " She quickly added to her sentence when she saw the girls faces drop "but obviously I'm a lot better than him"
"But just as cocky" said Sofia in a sarcastic tone "hey!" The girls started a conversation about hogwarts and what houses they think the three girls would be in since the other four we're going by into their 2nd year
Not long later a girl with long,brown hair and a fringe came to their compartment "hey girls, just came to tell you we'll be arriving soon so you should probably get changed" she looked towards the three girls "You three must be knew,I'm alice Fortescue" "I'm Sofia West" Before the other two could introduce Sofia did it for them "and this is Maddie Readon and Y/n Potter" the three girls sent a smile Alice's way "Well nice to meet you but I better get going,bye!" The four girls shared glances before Marlene shouted "Have fun snogging frank"
The train came to a stop not long after they all got changed, they jumped out, Marlene,lily,Mary and dorcas leaving the three girls to go to the boats
