beomgyu stared at the options of chips in front of him with a focused face. he could only pick one, because of how little money they had with them, and he couldn't decide.
after a while, yeonjun walked into the aisle with two drinks in his hands. he looked at beomgyu and at the chips, a small chuckle leaving his mouth.
"whatever you pick, just hurry up." this made the brunette look up. he opened his mouth, about to speak, but yeonjun interrupted.
"yes, i got you pipeline punch. now quickly decide, or you're not getting any chips." beomgyu smiled, noticing the pink-colored monster in yeonjun's right hand, an off-white in his other labeled pacific punch.
after what felt like hours, beomgyu ran up to the register, where yeonjun was waiting, and set a large bag of chips on the counter.
the cashier read the total aloud, and yeonjun set some crumpled cash in front of her. she glanced at beomgyu's feet and back at his eyes with a weird look on her face.
beomgyu didn't bother looking at his feet. he knew he forgot his shoes at the park when he stepped foot in the gas station.
"thank you." yeonjun smiled as he grabbed the plastic bag and beomgyu's hand, leading him out of the building.
they held hands often, just as friends of course, but beomgyu's heart still fluttered at the feeling.
yeonjun pulled out a pair of sunglasses from the bag. "i snagged these before we left." beomgyu giggled and let go of his hand.
he hated being in love with his best friend.
