Hawkmoth stewed in his anger back at his base. Lots of his men had been injured or killed in the attack. Nathalie came up to him.

"Sir the plan is ready to be put in motion." He nodded and they walked into a back room. There were several vials of serum that Max had created, and his soldiers were being injected with it. Hawkmoth himself was injected and was pleased with the strength and power he felt. After all of the soldiers were given the serum, they only had a couple vials left.

"We are going to the Agreste base tonight and taking them all down for good." Hawkmoth said to his troops. They all saluted and then prepared for the journey. "I also am going to find that girl and make more of this power serum." He said to himself.

Adrien felt better after Marinette had healed him and he sat up in his room. He wanted to talk to Marinette but wasn't sure what to say after she had spent so much energy saving him. He also noticed that he was beginning to have a negative effect when he touched things. His powers seemed to be the opposite of Marinette's and would drain energy and life.

He slipped on a pair of gloves and headed out of his room. He looked around him at the troops and didn't see anything out of the ordinary. He slipped down to the prison cells and found the place to be dark with no lights. He could hear whispering at the end of the hall, and he went to the end of the hall and peeked in. He saw two figures one of which was Marinette.

"Marinette is that you?" Adrien asked. Marinette got up and came to the cell door.

"Adrien are you feeling better?" She asked.

"I feel great thanks to you. I'm really sorry it took so much out of you. I don't want to hurt you." Marinette smiled and put her hand in Adrien's.

"It's okay." She said. Adrien could tell from her puffy eyes that she had been crying and he rubbed her hand.

"Can I stay with you for a bit?" He asked. She nodded and he opened the door and sat down. Alya came up to him and held out her hand.

"I'm Alya, Marinette's friend. I've heard about you." She said. "Oh, what did you hear about me?" Adrien asked with a playful smirk. Marinette interjected with a few giggles.

"I told her about you that's all." She said. Adrien talked to the two girls for a while and then the conversation turned serious when Adrien brought up his problem.

"I wanted to show you. I think I have powers like you Marinette, but they are different. It's almost like I drain life from whatever I touch. I don't know what to do."

"Adrien I'm sorry, is that why you are wearing gloves?" He nodded. Marinette removed his gloves and placed her hands on his. "You shouldn't be able to hurt me because I have the opposite power." She said. "How come you couldn't do this before?" She asked him.

"I've been taking pills to suppress my powers and I recently stopped them. Now I wish I hadn't stopped. I don't know what's worse than my terrible powers." Alya glanced at Marinette and nodded. She wanted her to tell him what Plagg told her. She sighed and began.

"Adrien, there's something I need to tell you about."

"I'm all ears." He said.

"Well Plagg told me that Hawkmoth, the leader of the akuma base is my father and the killer of my caretaker Tikki." Adrien's eyes were wide.

"No way, is that really true?" Marinette nodded. "Does Hawkmoth know you're his daughter?" Adrien asked. Marinette shook her head. Alya interjected.

"I think it's better that it stays that way. Who knows what he will do when he finds out."

"Though you might actually be treated better if he knew." Adrien said.
