After the death of her brothers she left her home feeling as alone as ever. A year after being on her own she is attacked by a nomad vampire, before he was able to kill her she was saved by the one and only original family. They become her new family, but before you know it they go on the run again leaving Faerynn alone once more. After nearly a century she finds herself in Beacon Hills, California where she had finally found a group of friends that makes her happy, until she hears of the nomad that changed her causing problems in the small town of Forks, Washington.
