I have been thinking about writing a fanfiction for The Vampire Diaries for a while and I finally decided to start. This is going to be a journey so get your asses in the van for the ride. They'll be popcorn, candy, soda, fun characters, plot twists, and more. Feel free to bring your own supplies.

Also there will probably be grammar and spelling mistakes so comment nicely. And I did get the Russian off google translate since I can barely speak English and am not of Russian descent so if any of you know the language, please comment the correct words.

And I did change some dialogue to fit my story. It may not be the exact words but keep in mind my story plot and character's motives are different than the show.

Also I am a young writer and want to improve my writing. I'm also not a witty person and am not good at dialogue so... Just be kind and offer constructive criticism but don't be mean.

Extended Summary:

Melina Volkovna had a broken childhood which couldn't even be considered a childhood. A dead mother and vampire hunter father. She has been trained far beyond what she should to become a hunter. No, an assassin. Trained in multiple forms of combat on how to kill and overpower vampires. Tortured in the mind. A father who used her for hunting. Her only joy was her best friend who always managed to find the good.

She moves to Mystic Falls with her best friend to get away from the supernatural world, just to get sucked in with the new one. With an attractive original, immortal hybrid, and enemies turned into friends what could go wrong.

Especially when everyone goes against one another.

This is my version of The Vampire Diaries' world and there are going to be many, many different things so I don't want complaints on how bad or how "not correct" this story is. I changed people's motives and information purposely.

Also, I did base some of my character on Natasha Romanoff a.k.a. our favorite Russian assassin. I wanted to write a story where the main character can defend themselves against vampires. Also we need a tragic backstory 'cause... well why not?
