"your so pale I don't even think you can get tan" I say before splashing water on Noen
"I hate you, I just get burned and then I get tan after" he says
"i wanna see that before i believe it" i say and get my towel
"can you hand me mine?" Noen asks
"no" i shortly say before sitting down on the sunchair
"your such a meanie" Noen says and pout
"that's just how i am" i say, Noens phone rings and he walks away
"who was it?" i ask
"it was Payton and he's still on the phone" Noen says and smirks
"no way, can i say hi?" i ask
"he wanted to talk to you" Noen says
we agree on meeting at sway this saturday
"well, that was interesting" Noen says and i chuckle
"was i that bad?" i ask
"no, im really impressed that you could actually speak" Noen says and i push him in the water
"im gonna go see Jaden in rehab today" i say
"okay, i have planned to eat out for dinner if you want" Noen says
"i would love that" i say before walking inside. i take a real bath and just put on some clothes
the whole car ride is in complete silence, i am really nervous to see him.
the rehab building is as boring as it sounds, its just a big white block
the employees inside match the vibe perfectly. old, white Karens
the lady behind the desk looks like she hasn't slept in days
"rough night?" i ask
"yup, we had a relapse, it was horrible"
"ooh, tough"
"Who are you here to see Ma'am?"
"Jaden Hossler"
"right this way"
i follow her down some creepy-looking halls, the walls are painted white and they have one lonely blue line following the walls. the floors are grey and it smells like sanitizer.
she knocks on a big white door, but there is no answer
"Mr. Hossler, i have a visitor for you"
"no thanks Ma'am" is heard from the inside.
"Sorry, sweety, he doesn't want any visitors right now" she says as she starts pushing me away
"no, hey! Jaden, it's me" I fight to get out of her arms and reach the door
"Riley?"
the employee lets go of me
"yes JJ, its me"
before i even reach his room, he runs out and jumps into my arms.
"wow, hey Jaden, how are you"
"please get me out of here" he whispers in my ear
"what"
"please Riley, i don't wanna be here anymore" i can feel his tears soaking my shirt
"well, are you clean yet?" i ask
