(Guys I'm sorry for not updating for a while. My exams and performance tasks came crashing in like a meteor. Why do the ends of school years do this, they make you suffer even in the end— but yeah, please forgive me with this long chapter.)

—Taehyung's POV—
"...do you think we should tell him.."
"...how do you think he'll react..."
"..but we can't keep secrets from him.."
"..what do we do..."
"..don't be a chicken.."
"..he needs to know.."
"..i can't take it, he does need to know..
...because I love—.."

"Hey guys, what are you talking about?" My voice rings out to them as their heads immediately turn towards me. Their faces seemingly holding a still expression.

I raise my eyebrow to indicate that I wanted to know, I was about to hold more onto Hobi's hand on my shoulder only to find that he seemed to have removed it. Namjoon coughs,

"It's nothing, Tae. You don't need to worry about it." He tries to smile at me till it was followed by a scoff. "Hyung, as much as we want to keep this topic away from you, we have to tell you something. Well, Namjoon hyung should." Jungkook says, throwing a glare at Namjoon. I smile cockily, seeing Kookie defend me. "Really now? You heard the dongsaeng, Joon-hyung! Cough it up." I cackle at him, laughing at the jubilant vibe that seems to be happening. No one was laughing, everyone seemed serious.

Ah, did I get the atmosphere wrong? Why's everyone so quiet?

I looked towards the figure beside me, but even Hobi seemed tensed. My smile drops, as I try to catch again what kind of vibe was running through the air. I know they seemed serious, but why? Ah nevermind, they were like this the first time I entered the house even. I pout, "Guys, did something happen while I was gone?" I ask straightforwardly, yet that only made the rest shiver. Jin blows a sigh,

"Namjoon, we can't keep it forever. I would really like to say it now for Tae but you're the leader uhm—. I don't know, I'm pretty sure you're supposed to be the one telling him this." Jin says as I raise an eyebrow at him. I turn my head fully to Namjoon and squint my eyes at him as a form of threat. "Whaaaat? Did you break something again? Oh my god, it better not have been my figurines of TinyTAN." I hold onto my shoulders, acting as if I'm already hurt at my own joke of a conclusion. "You are unbelievable—." "Those poor figurines—." "Imagine breaking your own gift to me, how crappy would that be—." "Tae, stop." I stop joking around as I stood still and turned to a serious-looking Namjoon. He must be serious, I mean,

No one ever tells Tae to stop.

I give him a bland look, indicating I was ready to hear whatever he had to say. Wonder what they're so on about.

"Taehyung, before I say this, please don't freak out... because this kind of information— seems to mean a lot to you."

"Huh, well that's not any better than breaking figurines."

Namjoon rolls his eyes at me as his reaction for the joke, my eyes went wide for a second. 'Oh, if he was my boyfriend or something, we would've had a fight by now.' Offended a bit; I sent him a glare as I see his hands tremble for a second. Then again, that reaction seemed valid since I'm not taking the situation seriously. I would love to, but what else could Namjoon possibly mean about some info meaning a lot to me? I can't put a finger on anything. It's not like I had skeletons in my closet, even if I did, does that seem like a scary piece of info? Ah wait—

"Tae, please don't... be scared of us or anything. I'm already saying this in advance but we— really care about you." His voice softens in the end, as my heart lights up a little at how sweet that sounds.
