"Mama!"

Mary slowly opened her eyes as she can feel a soft little hand touch her cheek "Mmm..?" She stretched her body and saw her three years old daughter was playfully playing with her hair "Hey kiddo" She pulled her daughter to a hug and plant a lot of kisses on her daughter's forehead and cheek

"You sleep on the couch again Mary?" Ririka put her hands on her waist and sighed "You should sleep in the room, not here. You could catch a cold you know?" Ririka rolls her eyes

"Sorry... I would like to but you know I have to deal with my work right?" Mary put all of her paperwork in the bag and lifted her daughter "Mommy shouldn't scold mama because she knows mama have work right kiddo?" Mary said and tickled her daughter's belly softly. The little girl laugh

"Both of you go to shower now. I will make breakfast for us" Ririka command and was about to go to the kitchen but Mary stops her by holding her hand

"Not so fast, where is my morning kiss?"

"Just that?" Mary nodded. Ririka giggled and gave the blonde girl a quick kiss on the lips "You got it now go to shower you smelly!"

"Okay, okay. Chill ma'am" Mary chuckled and goes to the bathroom with her daughter

Ririka goes to the kitchen. She toasts some bread and cooks some eggs. She was in the middle of cooking the eggs when she heard a loud laugh from the bathroom. The platinum hair girl smiled as she thinks about how close Mary and their daughter. Suddenly, the memory from 3 years ago pop-out. The beautiful memory when they decided to adopt a kid

Throwback, 3 years ago~

"Riri chan~" Mary put her bag down and jumped to the couch to hug Ririka

"Yes, baby?" Ririka turned to face Mary

"Look! I know this sounds a little bit too fast but what if we adopt a child?" Mary told Ririka what was playing on her mind

"Are you sure? We just married last year and now you ready to take the responsibility to become a parent?" Ririka asked

"Yeah, I'm sure. Come on, doesn't that will be nice to have a little kid playing around the house?" Mary seems so excited

"If you ready then I'm ready" Ririka smiled

They completed all of the adoption process steps to steps, signed everything, and 2 months after the baby was born, they finally met with the baby. The baby was given the name Kokoro. They are now officially is Kokoro's foster parents. Kokoro got Mary's last name since the blonde girl is the one that does the marriage proposal first

"Oh my, she is so cute!" Mary said, almost let out tears of happiness when she lifted the baby

"Hey, it's my turn to lift her now!" Ririka pouted

"Nope, she's mine for now. Sorry princess" Mary chuckled

Day by day passed, Having Kokoro as one of their family is making them happy. Just like the meaning of her name, she is the heart of their life that makes everything complete. Kokoro was born with heterochromia, a condition where the iris in one eye has a different color than the iris of the other eye. One iris is amber and the other iris is blue which represents Mary and Ririka. It feels like Kokoro is meant to be with them since the very beginning of the world
