I am from a city.

I am from the business of the streets.

From where the grass is green

From where the ocean sparkles like diamonds

I am from a loving home.

From where you could laugh and play all day

I am from a place where pain strikes hard.

I am from a place where grievance is often hidden.

From deep emotions to spoken words

I am from a place of hope

Struggling to get out of darkness

I am from a place where there is light yearning to reach me.

I am from a place where there is much to be discovered

Never knowing who the person is in front of me.

Wanting a feeling of strength

To get up and push ahead is what I'll do.

A book is lying in front of me.

With all the happiness inside

It is rich with light.

It will one day be opened

For all memories to flood out.

Underneath is a spectacular destination.

Lyrics hidden from the world

Music undiscovered

An unknowingly rhythm is heard.

I am from those moments

Where light is shed

And where it is dissolved in a pebble in a rock collection.
