14. Bringing Food for You

Usually, Qiao Mulan would feed Jiang Mosheng herself. However, since Yu Jinli was here, in order to give the two more time to get along, Qiao Mulan offered Yu Jinli the chance to feed Jiang Mosheng instead.

Yu Jinli didn't think much about it and went upstairs with nutrition preparation and water.
Sure, he enjoyed being around Jiang Mosheng whose golden glow was so thick that it was just a step away from being solidified. That made him comfortable.
It would be great if that unpleasant dark mist disappeared, though.

Jiang Mosheng's room was large. Yu Jinli turned his head to the left then right before he looked at that king-sized bed in the middle when his eyes met Jiang Mosheng's.
He glanced at him and turned away in a hurry. A mysterious blush colored his pink cheeks.

Normally, Yu Jinli wasn't such an embarrassment as a spirit beast - feeling shy when he saw a handsome man, for spirit beasts are the most beautiful creatures in the world. Be it a spirit beast of fish or pig, it will become good-looking after taking the form of a human.
Though Yu Jinli hadn't seen many spirit beasts, both his sect-brother and master shifu were matchless beauties, superior in spirit beast terms.

Yu Jinli, who was immune to beauties since he saw his beautiful sect-brother and master shifu all the time, should have been indifferent to human's appearance.

However, he had to admit that Jiang Mosheng was extremely handsome, as handsome as his sect-brother was, with chiselled features, dark, sharp and hawk-like eyes. Just one glance from him would make a person feel like drowning in his eyes.

His nose was straight, his lips thin, his face a meticulous sculpture made by god himself.
His appearance was seldom seen among spirit beasts, rarer among humans, for spirit beasts normally boast beauty of femininity, few spirit beasts look masculine.

Yu Jinli had to admit that Jiang Mosheng was very attractive.

He confirmed once again that his golden coattail must be a spirit beast. Only a spirit beast would be so good-looking.
"Aren't you going to come inside?" Jiang Mosheng's deep voice rose from inside. He sounded a bit hoarse, perhaps he hadn't been talking much.

Yu Jinli returned to his senses at Jiang Mosheng's word and went into the room hurriedly.
"I'm here to bring you your food." Looking at the nutrition preparation and water, he felt sorry for his golden coattail for another second.

He didn't intend to taste this kind of food for his lifetime. However, he knew what it tasted like from his host's memory.
When his host was in Yu Family, his life was hell, where he seldom ate natural food and didn't even have any nutrition preparation from time to time, Besides, the taste of the nutrition preparation made Yu Jinli sick every time he thought back on it.

He did pity men in this world who didn't even get good food.
When he had time, he wanted to cook and show them what delicacy was.
Sweet and sour pork, roast duck with konjak tofu, braised fish, poached spicy pork, duck's blood and beef tripe in spicy soup... All mouth-watering food. It would be nice if he could eat them again.

Without realizing it, Yu Jinli started to range in fancy, his mind filled with famous delicacies from the world he used to live in. He felt as if those delicacies were waving at him.
